    Absolute cinema indeed

Makes sense. So far UQ has been the best Espada for me

Likewise if you ever decide more than 1 just tell me will be fine.

Yeah, I did also like Grimmjow. I mean I like Starrk too.

Segunda Etapa. It can translate to second stage or second coming from Spanish, depending on one character.

And, yes, targeting the heart is Ulquiorra's signature kill move, as Grimmjow explained earlier.

People always misunderstand when Ulquiorra says that even Aizen hasn't seen his Segunda. He only means that Ulquiorra himself had not a chance yet to personally show Aizen the form. Mistranslation of that line from both fans and Viz don't help the matter either.

Aizen knew. This is made abundantly clear when Aizen explains to Ichigo that he observed all of his battles in Las Noches, including (some-fukking-how) his final battle with Ulquiorra.

I believe Kubo has also confirmed that Aizen knew in his website's Q&As. Not that it was needed, given what I put in spoilers above.

Mayuri and Urahara have likened Resurreccion to Bankai, as has Kubo himself. So Segunda Etapa is something else entirely.

Also, these days it is highly doubted by knowledgeable Bleach folk that Ulquiorra is the most powerful Espada, what with it being revealed that:

Even Aizen was wary of Starrk's true power and potential. It is generally held now that Starrk is indeed the strongest, being ludicrously above everyone else, given that even motherfukking evil-from-his-mama's-womb Aizen was wary of his true power. What is truly insane is that Starrk became a natural Arrancar and achieved a Zanpakuto plus Resurreccion himself. Unlike with the other Espada, Starrk never received assistance from the Hogyoku.

Don't get me wrong. Ulquiorra in Segunda Etapa is definitely more powerful than Harribel and Baraggan (though he probably can't win against the latter due to his broken ability). But Starrk is a different beast entirely.

^ Note: I don't consider these major spoilers, since Kubo detailed this in his website's Q&As.

Yeah. Ulquiorra is my favourite Espada as well. And he embodies most what the Espada were actually meant to be for Aizen. He is probably the best Espada in terms of how seriously he takes the job that comes with the title.

Maybe the correct way to write it is that Aizen didn't know about the form when the Espada rankings were created, unless that is what is also being contested. I do vaguely recall the line you mention, which idk if that changes anything because it's kind of an "in hindsight" moment. xD

Yeah, that's correct. It's stated it's equivalent to a Bankai. My comparison was more just saying if it works in the way a Shinigami does (Shikai = ability and probable power increase and Bankai = more of the same) then the second release could potentially a big deal. Or it could be fairly minimal, but I doubt the latter. I don't think it ever has or will be quantified.

I thought Ulquiorra also was a natural Arrancar + Ressurreccion? Althogh I'm not sure if he was Hogyoku powered too in addition to the former, if he was (which I believe so).

Yeah, Baraggan is a bit debatable because power isn't always greater than hax, and vice-versa. Starrk for sure is a monster. I guess for me it boils down to how big of a difference the second release is. Not that it really matters who is stronger, just fun speculation. xD

271 was great. Orihime's wails woke Ichigo up and he goes Super Saiyan 3 xD I guess this is his perfect hollowfication form? He absolutely bodied UQ. Ulquiorra accepted defeat. That Cero looked terrifying.

271 was great. I love Ulquiorra, but man, it's always so satisfying to see him just getting murdered my Ichigo. xD Bro dies and then just wakes up to kill you. Well, idk about perfect considering no one is home, more like complete hollow form. xD I like how Ulquiorra did the Lanza Del Relampago and it's basically a nuke, then a few mins later it just gets stopped bare handed. xD

Ulquiorra was not a natural Arrancar, just a unique Vasto Lorde? I think Starrk was stated to be the only one among the Espada who was already an Arrancar when Aizen recruited him.

Yeah. It is pretty much his full hollow form. Not "perfect" per se, but completed Hollowfication. It is what he would have looked like had the Visored not interfered and Ichigo given in fully to Hichigo in his inner world.

Note: Hollow Ichigo's name is White Ichigo, but fans like to call him Hichigo as well.

Also... I love how this form of Ichigo was foreshadowed in a subtle way. Recall that Hichigo told Ichigo that the next time he died or was close to death, he could be taking over. Heck, that is not subtle foreshadowing. That is outright in-your-face and down-your-throat telling you what will happen. And fans still think this is an ass-pull.

And it could be potentially far more terrifying. Hichigo can theoretically also use Gran Rey Cero (the one which requires the user to mix their blood in, and which can warp space) and Cero Oscuras (distinguished by its black inner colouration and outline being of the user's reiatsu colour, plus vastly higher reiatsu density). Bleach official data books confirm that these two types of Cero are at least a magnitude (ten times) more powerful than a standard Cero.

Hichigo matched Ulquiorra's Cero Oscuras with a standard red Cero. This means Hichigo is at least ten times as powerful as Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra.

The nihilist twink stood no chance at all.

    "Basically a nuke"

If Lanza Del Relampago was used in the human world, it would have flattened an area the size of a continent. That is Ten Tails Bijuu Bomb level.

The fact that Hichigo negated it with his bare palm is insane.
