    Just discovered a youtube channel called Pasta Grannies. Is just Italian grandmas and even great grandmas just teaching the younger generation about traditional pasta and other Italian recipes. And it is so cute and wholesome.

    It seems Vivaldi has fixed the issues with auto-play block on their desktop browser. Not a single issue so far for the past three days (after the latest update). Ditto for Waterfox.

    My breakfast: wholewheat olive & rosemary sourdough, with garlic confit (made myself), tomatoes, Danish Havarti cheese, basil, a drizzle of olive oil, crushed pepper. Baked in the oven at 150 Celsius for three minutes.

    Tomato confit and garlic confit can also be made on the stove on very low heat, which is what I did. Just need attention and patience. In fact, it is quicker on stove top. Just have to be careful not to overcook the stuff.

    Unfortunately, there is still that GPU rasterization issue, which causes the whole damn laptop to hang when playing/streaming high-res videos in the browser, requiring a reboot. And it isn't even Vivaldi's fault, but due to a faulty AMD graphics driver.

    Had to painstakingly update AMD iGPU drivers to fix the issue.

    Speaking of faulty AMD graphics drivers... There is an issue with May 2026 AMD drivers which causes some dll files in the installed drivers to give the following two problems:

    1. Some anti-cheat softwares on Steam register them as "untrusted system files", causing game crashes and even potential flags in anti-cheat systems.

    2. Antivirus softwares registering some of the dll files as malware (false positives).

    Ah, yeah I just wanted to make sure I was thinking of the right thing. The cooking method doesn't matter if the end result is the same difference.

    Damn, that's annoying. I've had my fair share of nvidia driver crashing just booting the pc/in browser ever since they started vibe coding their drivers. Weirdly enough, it's only been during some lighter load stuff, like I said having the browser open playing a youtube video, or like 1-2 times just booting into Windows. Don't think I've ever had it crash actually working in a game.

    For the past year or so, AMD is actually worse than Nvidia when it comes to vibe coding their drivers.

    I feel like they must both be as shit as each other. Between them and microslop they're all having a slopout to see who can slop out the sloppiest slop.
