    Maybe they fixed it, but it 100% used to delete the local shit. If possible I would try and backup those files in a secondary location just to be safe, where it's g drive or a local usb or something.

    It's part of the job, you had to agree to accepting it as a condition of employment. I just get annoyed because there's a bunch of coworkers who complain about overtime.

    Well, we all technically agreed to work overtime when we were hired. We have an equal system where lowest earner gets forced out. It is just frustrating when they complain about overtime but don't put in for every job after.

    I think it is the other way around? Our government tried to ban Tor here and it did not work at all. Governments all over the world try to ban Tor, and they fix it in twelve bloody hours.

    Trouble with VPNs is that you can use residential IP which are basically indistinguishable from a normal IP and VPN IPs rotate. You basically have to block specific IPs I guess due to Tor exit nodes being public or just the protocol in general, it's easier to block at least at a baseline level

    I remember when the UK talked about maybe blocking VPNs people mentioned basically wrapping the VPN obvious traffic into a normal layer so it no longer looked like vpn traffic. But I mean, I assume that wouldn't change the IP on the host end. Who knows. xD

    I get it. Thanks for the explanation. However, regardless of how governments try to regulate internet traffic, I guess people will find ways to access what they want.

    I mean... Look at Cuba. The US & NATO prevent them from accessing the internet, also prevent VPNs and Tor from providing them internet services. But they still do access the web.
