Synopsis:
Guts, known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces that pursue him and his woman, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Aided only by his titanic strength, skill, and sword, Guts must struggle against his bleak destiny, all the while fighting with a rage that might strip him of his humanity. Berserk is a dark and brooding story of outrageous swordplay and ominous fate, in the theme of Shakespeare's Macbeth.​

 

Watched the first two episodes of this yesterday. Putting the CGI aside, it was enjoyable. I feel like there was more 2d shots than the last season of this, but maybe it was toned down cgi? I'm unsure. The OST in these are pretty good for the most part. The fight with Gutts and Zodd was unlimited clangworks, but outside of that eh. It had a few moments of humour nearing the end of the second ep and it was good seeing Farnese and Serpico's background done. It was also great to see a glimps of Shierke. ;-;7 The anime does a great job of sticking to the manga what it does adept. Looking forward to watching the rest of this!

This ep was pretty enjoyable! I do wish it had more Guts and co, but it was one of those chapters from the source.

 

Finally getting somewhere! Really glad we've officially introduced Shierke and are already in the Witch's house. :D I gotta say, the trolls look really on-point, despite CGI, look menacing af. I can't wait for Guts to get the Berserker Armour. That ep will be lit af. Looking forward to next weeks ep!

 

tfw I forgot last week. That ep was okay, mainly getting to the village and getting their powers. Was decent.

This episode was pretty good. The fighting was pretty awkward in some spots, but not bad in others. Trolls have "finally been defeated" in the village, but next ep the big ass one comes in. Forget what it was called. After that it should be back to the cave then we'll see the female godhand. It's progressing nicely, too bad it's all CG because the hand-drawn parts, especially the eye-catches look great. Looking forward to next ep.

 

Was it just ogre though? Swear it was more than that, but maybe not.

This ep was pretty good! Seeing some badass Guts and Shierke and also Serpico kicked ass. So that was good. Pretty solid ep. Next week they'll be in the troll's lair and the female godhand is, pretty sure we'll see her, if not the week after. Looking forward to it.
