Hey, at least it is better than no regen at all. At least the user in those scenarios can sacrifice limbs to stop an enemy and then just regrow them. And, as Ulquiorra stated, most of the other Arrancars sacrificed regen for extra power; which is pointless, if you ask me.

I know one fukker who very likely did do such a thing, but @Laraib has probably not reached that episode yet.

273 was good. So Yammy is actually #0 holy shit. Does that mean he's the strongest Espada? He didn't say he's Zero, he said Cero. I wonder what that meant. Toshiro was struggling against #3, but he seemed to have picked himself up. I dare #3 to challenge Yamamoto, would be fun

Shinigami = Japanese
Quincy = German (recall that all of Uryu's weapons & techniques so far have been named in German)
Espada = Spanish

Each Espada refers to their rank in Spanish numerical. Yammy is the diez (tenth) in base and cero (Spanish for zero) in resurreccion (yes, his rank does change depending on whether he is in sealed or released state).

Recall how Ulquiorra mentioned that some Arrancar sacrificed their regeneration ability (and some other Arrancar abilities, actually) in favour of pure raw power and nothing else? Yeah... Yammy is an example of that. Dude sacrificed high speed regeneration, Sonido (speed), Hierro (defence) all in favour of raw physical strength and uncontrollable reiatsu.

I would also like to point out that Yammy can properly use his resurreccion only after eating a lot & resting a bit (which he himself explained) and when he is sufficiently enraged (because his spiritual power and physical strength increase based on how angry he is at the moment, just like Broly from Dragon Ball).

Honestly? That is a useless ass resurreccion. Because he can't even release Ira (which means enraged beast) unless he has a huge meal and long nap beforehand. And he needs to be angry enough, because his power is fuelled by sheer rage. The other Espada (except for one) can release just by calling out their Zanpakuto name and nothing else.

I kid you not: Yama-jii could whoop every Espada in resurreccion up to rank 3 (and Yammy in resurreccion) using Hakuda and Kido only i.e. without his zanpakuto. He would likely need his Ryuujin Jakka only for #2 and #1 (and even then only because of their unique abilities).

Regarding his use of Ryuujin Jakka against Ayon and Harribel's Fraccion: It was more out of annoyance (for the former) and respect (for the latter) than anything else.
