Yup, when he pointed out that he chose to follow the nurse due to the blood stain on her shoes I was like oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

 

yeah was there entire time just to find who wrote the letter to him

 

but but but honestly it was kinda shitty of the father to leave 0 inheritance to his family, even if they were so shitty, especially the daughter who was going to leave her husband after getting that letter from him

 

probably becoz The movie actually is about how bad the family is.
An example is Katherine Landford's char which is socialist, liberal and woke but outs Ane de Amras as illegal immigrant when her cozy lifestyle is threatned.

Also since Ana De Amras is protagonist there needs to be conflict between her and family which isn't totally out until the will is announced.
Without actual conflict movies becomes dull an example is Naruto vs Boruto. ie people don't like naruto so you sympathize with him becoz its not his fault while in latter everyone likes Boruto so its hard to give him anything especially sympathy.

its hard to connect with chars with whom you don't sympathize unless untill he is pretty well written.

i mean were you rooting for Ana or against her should signify that bold worked or not

 

Yeah that's understandable, they wanted to show the dirty side of the family.

Of course I was rooting for Ana but Chris' character was so eccentric that it kept things interesting.

the antithesis to Naruto one would be Luffy since he isn't potrayed as sympathetic for like 500 chaps still manages to win you over just via his charisma

Chris Evans is someone i disliked becoz i never like captain america but he has grown on me probably thank to Scott Pilgrim vs The World
