It shouldn't by, how would that make any sense? I would ask first to be sure, but as long as it's under the warranty period they usually must fix it for free or provide a new unit if it's damaged beyond repair. You may have to pay postage though.

Your best bet would be to speak to a rep. The warranty terms they would have to comply with may be based on region laws, I'm not certain, I've only ever used warranty once, when I bought a psp and had issues. Took it back to the store and they swapped it over then and there no issues brand new unit, just had to provide receipt.

It was all simple enough, just a learninig process. I think I'm pretty familiar with doing basic shit now which is nice.

I'll be honest, I haven't touched it in a good while kek. Forgive me.

Bro, just don't worry about it. You have usually 12 months min warranty from date of purchase. Just speak to a rep and sort it once you're back from Germany.

Yeah. Seen this with Crysis 2 and 3 Remastered. They'll run on a rig with a GTX 960 2 GB on low settings and 1600x900 resolution. They get only ludicrously demanding and chew up VRAM on very high settings and activating a particular texture pack, in which case you absolutely need an RTX 2080 or something even for 1440p.

And then you have the likes of Jedi Fallen Order, which is so unusually demanding on low settings but seemingly not so on max settings. Donkey shit tier scalability and optimization for low end hardware in that game. And it's a 2019 game that looks no better than demanding games which released in 2012-2013.

Or may be just bad soldering in one spot?

First make sure it has a free SATA or NVMe slot, mate.

Nope. You're not going to lose warranty for some stupid reason like that.

Tried to fix it yourself or fucked with the factory OS installation? Yeah, then you'll be kissing the warranty goodbye.

    Good. Good.

It covers any defect for the period of the warranty. For example: Got a one-year warranty? It will cover any defect for one year from date of invoice. It has nothing to do with number of defects/services.

You didn't get the international warranty? That's standard these days. If you got that, then you can get it serviced wherever.

Calm yourself. Wait for response from Asus. Then we'll see.

Don't most upper end business and gaming laptops these days come with 2-3 years warranty? Mine came with 3 years because of a special offer, but otherwise it's 2 years.

    Man rediculous.

Yeah, could be anything, either way not his problem, let the warranty cover it.

Yeah, I'm just saying at min expect 1yr. I would say 2-3 prob.

Why do you think I haven't checked that xD It has 1 slot SATA and 1 RAM slot empty. They even gave me the expansion apparatus (the bay and cable) for a second SATA drive with the laptop

I feel like if we have something like an anime list panel it'll attract more users.
