    Yeah, but 1000 Watt is advised on places like notebookcheck and some other sites in order to give yourself some headroom.

    Depends on the card provider I think. Some AIBs have higher recommended, but pretty insane it draws less power than 3090ti and just dumps on it. I look forward to upgrading to a 6070 or 6080 or amd equivalent price depending for even better performance and efficiency. xD

    Yeah, the performance jump relative to power draw is somewhat of a nice surprise. Makes me hopeful for an impressive line-up of mid-rangers (especially if they were to come with more VRAM than prior generation counterparts).

    Only the 4090 is as big of an uplift. Rest are disappointment, largely (looking at both 4080 and """4080"""). Maybe laptop cards will be good.

    Well, I guess now that you mention it... One worry with the laptop cards (with the lower middle class and middle class anyway) is that we won't see any new GPUs using new gen architecture, but older gen ones just rebranded (like, for example, RTX 4050 being just a rebranded and power optimized RTX 3060, for example). It's nothing. Just a worry at the back of my head.

    I guess the 16gb model is ok but the 12gb is pathetic barely ahead of 3080 - must be 10gb model seeing as they don't name them and that would make 40 series look the best.

    Will have to see on that front.
