    Oda has a real problem with endlessly expanding things, dropping points, or answering questions with more questions. It's why it feels like it never gets anywhere. If you don't like the arcs from the grandline, you won't like later ones, because he basically repeats arcs at their core a lot. I would say first 100 chapters you don't get a feel of this because it's all the crew joining and then finally getting into the grandline. But once you've experienced Alabaster and the one after, you know how basically half the manga will go, maybe more. Only different ones are one right before TS and one just before.

    I noticed entire chapters going by without anything significant happening. It's fine tho, I'm not hating on OP. It's just overrated.

    Also it's funny cuz I never seriously claimed naruto is a masterpiece let alone peak fiction (like Jesus man have you read classic literature, that's just cringe).
