    It's hard to explain but basically it feels like some convoluted way to do the simplest shit every time. Because I thought it would be good. It's like 5 years old now anyway.

    I'll provide one example I can't 100% remember the details, but it was the most recent thing. I couldn't log into either the laptop itself or the icloud email. I think it was the password, (I use it barely so I just mixed it up and couldn't find the correct one noted down), I tried to "reset" or "recover" and from what I recall because I didn't have another apple device like an iphone and couldn't access the thing I was trying to reset the password for, or something like that, the recovery option was basically apple decides if you're you and the process could take like 1-2 weeks or some shit. The only other option was to reinstall the operating system which i did.

    Make sure to check one out in a store before you buy. This is to check that the display doesn't fukk with you. iphones are notorious for low-frequency high-amplitude PWM.

    Edit:
    I forgot that your work phone is an iphone, which you have been using for a while. You should have no issues.

    With some work, it could do anything that iOS and Android can, other than heavy-duty gaming. For basic everyday stuff from web browsing to banking to even navigation? It should not be an issue.

    I was so focused on the shite displays of iphones, that I completely overlooked the shite OS.
