    They can go for option with least backlash aka
    Rounding up Ukrainian refugees and sending them back to ukraine for fighting

    This will become more and more popular choice when war drags on and ukraine faces manpower shortage

    There are Halo fan-made-games that are more faithful to the original than this. Funnily enough, one of them is made on UE5 itself.

    UE5.6 is apparently quite good and fixes a lot of issues. However, I have no faith in this studio to work with it properly. They still haven't fixed MCC, a game that should theoretically run well on 2011-2012 hardware without issues.

    By the way... There are reports of Halo MCC frying some Nvidia 3000 series GPUs. Yeah...

    At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Ukrainians themselves got fed up and decided to end the war with Russia on their own, overthrow Zelenskyy, and just let Russia have the territory they annexed in the east. Apparently, as popular as his personality cult is in the west, he is deeply unpopular within Ukraine itself.

    That is and isn't a surprise. Fans are driven by pure love and passion. These AAA studio teams have basically been gutted of that.

    Yeah. 5.6 gives big improvements with a few things (can't remember what specifically) but also, no one is using 5.6 and I don't think it was as simple as just instantly moving a project from say 5.4 to 5.6.

    I'm always a little cautious of reports of x game frying x gpu. It's possible but also seems unlikely.

    To be fair, I think a lot of the issue could be alleviated if they didn't insist on using all of the features that are "bells and whistles" (they are/aren't) that just rape performance while enabling them to do minimal effort. There are a few UE5 games that run great.

    Mine is basically the same for the most part, but I just covered for someone else Friday and am covering for another person Monday and maybe Tuesday. But when I was in my old position it was a rotating schedule which was shit.

    The last Windows 10 update fucks with bluetooth drivers, apparently. Audio devices connected via bluetooth seem to especially suffer.
