Have you tried running ram at stock no XMP/EXPO profile loaded? I'm trying that now. It's the inconsistency of it that makes it borderline impossible to figure out.

Pretty sure I don't have it set to one. Unless its default because I reset my bios settings a little bit ago.

Yeah, if you reset BIOS good chance no XMD/EXPO is running. The mystery deepens... Have you tried wiping GPU driver with DDU and doing a clean install of an older version? I assume so. Almost the only other option software-related would be to just nuke windows and do a clean install, or install linux. I would switch to linux myself but there's a bit of performance left on the table with nvidia gpus. What does your event viewer say? you should have some critical errors

Yea, that was what I was gonna do but also wanted to buy a new hd but they're so fcking expensive. I feel like going linux would be a pain in the ass. And the only critical thing in the event viewer is the unexpected shutdown, which is me powering off the pc with the power button.

Yup that's ******* annoying. Yeah SSD prices are fucked now, you may be able to get a cheaper one from china, 50/50 tho.

Just wait till around Christmas time I guess and suffer in the mean time. Also, the weirdest thing thats been happening with this shit is some games default to like 3840xXXXX resolution .

Yeah, that's strange. I can't think of why they would default to something like that, only thing I can imagine would be like driver level overriding but doubt. What does your crashing look like, just full system hanging? Like frozen screen? Or black screen? You have AM4 platform right? Also an AMD GPU IIRC so I assume 8 pin power on the GPU.

If Im in fullscreen the whole pc will freeze and then shut off but if not I'll get a cftmon hard error which is windows search bar crashing. Can't open anything as it doesn't even recognize that theres a path to the windows hd then it shuts off.

Sounds slightly different to mine, but the same vein of bullshit. Mine only has issue when it boots in that weird fucky state where the mouse is laggy. When the mouse isn't laggy it's stable won't have a single issue and won't crash even if stressing cpu 100%, or ram, or gpu.
