Perhaps my grandfather did mention his ancestor was tax collector in Mughal Empire i dont know how much credible is that

 

It's a bit hard to research tbh. Only because all the info is either written wrong, or you have to take guesses at most parts of it.
Luckily for me. History was my best subject in high school.

 

Same here !! Its difficult to trace the bloodline history for example most of my grandfather's parent died quickly at young age so its really hard to trace where they came from . (What he researched he was was orphanged and was raised by someone ) . So did some reseach here and there when he wanted to find out the family turns out there were ksytariyas (solders) in old Nizam Empire .

 

Nizam Empire? Where does that hail from?
Most of my ancestors were born in Australia, then moved around overseas, then came back here.
I mostly have old kings and queens, nobility as ancestors when I go back in time.

I found 4000+ people in my family tree. to date. My family had a lot of kids back then apparently -____-
