Do you know what is the first thing Yeddyurappa did when he came to power? He had dropped over a hundred cases against right wing lunatics which ranged from rioting to rape to attempted murder to unlawful possession of weapons. Since the last BJP regime in Karnataka, we've been seeing the rise of right wing Hindu hooliganism and even murder in our state. Gauri Lankesh was the fourth or fifth prominent rationalist writer to be brutally murdered in our state. The suspects in all the previous cases can be tracked back to right wing Hindutva outfits (though they still haven't seen justice). One of those is giving arms training to its members by the way and their head once explicitly stated in an interview with The Week magazine that they were willing to do actual battle against those who oppose them.

Am I surprised that a Hindu Yuva Sena member was arrested in connection with this case? Absolutely not. These motherf@ckers have been in the news before for threatening to kill people and for trafficking in firearms.

Afro Samurai is the anime by the way. Samuel L Jackson voiced the main protagonist. It isn't spectacular or anything but is a good watch. Nice action, nice music, good voice acting. There is a five episode anime series (yes, just five) and a two hour anime film.

Warning: There is nudity and gore. And some swearing.
