Mam, the atmosphere in the workplace went to garbage, we started getting treated like machines, we have more and more work with no bonus whatsoever. Even managers are fed up with this.

I got a mentor status which I have never applied for nor knew I'm a candidate for, which means I have now fixed spot where I have to sit, the current duties remain the same but additionally I will have to babysit new hires. I'm not okay with this. Not only I only realized that when colleagues told me "hey man look, you have your spot assigned there", but also there is virtually no bonus for basically double the work. I'm not going to leave this.

This team is now a mess.

 

AHT and service level adherence. We have 20seconds to pick up calls, and ideally 10 minutes AHT, 4 hours for reply to emails. None of that is possible with service on all 3 areas excluding India and Japan and 24/7. The only departments that have their service levels okay are German and French desk because of low traffic.

It's exactly like this. They want you to pick up fast and answer calls but also you get shit for quality. Bitch, either this or that. I can handle all calls in 2 minutes but then be prepared for all the complaints. I can analyze the situation well and find solution to these morons' problems (honestly I think that Amazon's requirement when applying for the work is "as low IQ as possible") but then don't give me shit for slow AHT. And there is no way to average that in any way, because not all cases are the same.

I already wrote to my line manager and we'll see. Lately a lot of good and experienced people left, therefore for now the term "notice period" works like magic key. And I'm not gonna hesitate to use it.

 

Yeah the service level requirements here are very little short of insanity. Ideally you should spend 10 minutes after call work and 15 mins total including call. Not possible, really. North America is calling throughout entire shift. Other than that we get about 1500-2000 mails a day. We realistically can respond to about 2/3 of them. It is not stopping, over 100 people is working on the mails entire day, and all we can do at really ideal day is to keep somewhat even number of them, not decrease. And Everytime we have to pick up a call, we just stop doing email. See how that works?

I hope so too man, lately it is hard to think about any reason to keep working here. People- but they are leaving.
