It's no coincidence that the states which rank lowest on education are current BJP/RSS strongholds (with some exceptions).

Gujarat also ranks near the bottom (third from bottom, actually) on education development indices. Those people are good businessmen/women but they're not well learned.

Don't forget that they're both incompetent and detached from reality.

I find it simultaneously sad and hilarious that Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram - who studied at Oxbridge and Hardvard (and the latter is descended from a noble family of uberwealthy merchant bankers) - have a better understanding of the Indian ground realities than Nirmala Sitharaman - who comes from a humble Brahmin family and was educated at JNU (ironic, considering it was a bastion of the left when she was a student there).
