    That special. Jesus ******* christ, my dick. 10/10. That episode was amazing. That art and animation was a whole was spot on and in some parts phenomenal! The OSTs in use were also fantastic and complementary. Jiren is such a beast, and that new power that even GoDs fear, I'm guessing that isn't something Jiren uses? That ending was really shocking to see Freeza giving Goku energy, did NOT and wouldn't have ever expected that. Also surprised Freeza gave energy for the Spirit Bomb, and sorta miffed Vegeta didn't because I thought we got past that lol. They put effort into the fighting choreography at points is well, that's very nice to see, and some of those scenes of Goku vs Jiren and the new form were amazing all round. Can't wait to be able to get this on home video release. Next episode looks like another banger being Hit vs Jiren!

    Not sure how many times i've watched his new form, but fuuuuuuuuuuuck yeah!


    Finally a form that gave me some of the hype back i had when i saw my boy Goku turning into a ssj for the first time.
    I jizzed and i'm gonna keep jizzing because he so badass and he will make Beerus shit his pants. lel :D

    Ultra-Instinct is no joke, power that even rivals the Gods of Destruction. To bad for Goku that he was only able to maintain it temporarily, but Jiren is still on another level. Though next week it looks like Hit is going to be holding his own. Honestly, it might take a team effort from the top tiers to haven a chance against Jiren.

    Hard to say how a full fresh Goku would match up. He was depleted and the spirit bomb was powering him, wondering if that would be like fresh form due to all the power of it, or if it'd still fall short. Possibly, still have another match with the form most likely - the promo art he had no shirt at all.

    That's good and lmao.

    Preach! That Ultra instinct looked so sick. Vegeta is definitely jelly. I'm guessing Goku needs sometime to recover so he can enter the mode and fight Jiren? lol at this point it's futile whatever the other Universes do. Jiren is on a whole other level. Hit will get leveled. Also that anime was smooth and crispy. Would not be surprised if next episode is a downgrade.

    Yeah, better than another ss recolour. XD The eyes look lit too. Yeah, although it showed more curious than jealousy. He definitely wanted to know how it was done ASAP. XD Yeah, he was drained before the form and used the spirit bomb to power his body, so he's currently drained again. And yeah, it's almost ridiculous the power gap. I'm even more curious how indifferent Freeza seemed to Jiren's power and even Goku's Ultra Instinct. Yeah, although in the preview you can see Hit had landed a few blows on Jiren - one left a fist mark too. He will ultimately loose though imo. Expect it - they bought in all the top dogs for the special.

    I'm still confused if goku has this form for good or was it a temporary power-up? The episode didn't explain what happened very well. Maybe it's the translations.

    Goku was drained from the fight when the spirit bomb was deflected to him. At some point he absorbed the spirit bomb which powered his drained body - giving him energy, then, as per what Whis says, he unlocked his own potential deep within him. So I believe it's implied it's his own power up, the Spirit Bomb was the catalyst that had him reach that deep to unlock it, and he absorbed it to power himself. I don't think it was the absorption that made him unlock it, but it seems like a grey area.

    Yoooo!!!! That episode was gawdlike! The animation to the art and music...oh so good. I wonder if mastery of self movement is the same thing as Ultra Instinct.

    I like Ultra Instinct rather than Mastery of Self Movement. Seems more ominous. But Jiren is a beast. I was not expecting so much from him. I am gladly surprised.
