Some parents in Tokyo wanted the manga banned for showing full frontal nudity and sexualized depictions of a character who is 11-12 years old. The courts decided that the manga did not violate 'Bill 156' and let the manga continue its run.

But after the controversy, SJ decided to move the manga from its main publication to one of its magazines aimed at an older audience.

I only learned of this controversy after an anime/manga reviewer on YouTube talked about it and went on a rant against Japan's manga publishers increasingly catering to lolicons (which is just a nicer way to say paedophiles).

Dude it's so more badass when Shinichi solves cases than Conan, even though they are same people, Shinichi is just more badass. I need more Shinichi episodes pls.
