I understand what you're saying, I get better insight into the matter the more I read about it. But at the same time we can’t really see the whole picture of this event and what it is preparing the world to. Like I feel that them forsaking all the benefits they get from being part of the UE just because of xenophobia, racism or whatever is not all there is to it. I dunno.

It has bad history with their neighbors and regional cooperation in general. The issue takes its roots to the colonial era or the 'end' of it, when the borders of a certain area were not clearly determined because it was an 'empty land' as they called it. This area is the subject of a major conflict nowadays between Mor and Algeria. Known as the western Sahara conflict. This issue has prevented us from being active actors in any regional committee in Africa in years; we weren’t part of the African Union for decades, we didn’t benefit from any regional free trade or integration for that long. Well, up until 2015 or so when we tried regaining these ties with the rest of Africa. There is still tense relationships with Algeria though, and I don’t think it’s gonna be solved soon.
So in short, I cant imagine that scenario you put there.

I won't lie, I only read Animal Farm and it was great, like really insightful. I liked his storytelling techniques and the great satire he used in throwing in political msgs throughout the book. I was impressed that I was planning to read 1984 neext but I got caught up in stuff, so I put it aside for a while.
