If only more people acted like this. My frustration knows no end when I see how bigoted some of my relatives are towards nonbelievers or even people of other denominations (catholic here).

Still, it all falls kinda short when your religion not only says that atheists (or people who aren't in your club in general) will all be tortured forever but that they actually deserve to be tortured forever due to various cop-out reasons. (For Christianity, it's them actually subconsciously knowing that Christianity is true but resisting it due to the evil in their hearts which is of course not only plain wrong but also gravely insulting.)

It's just a mess and even these chill sentiments (echoed by the pope as well btw) tend to hide the more vicious doctrines that all those who subscribe to the faith are obligated to believe.
