I'd even say as far as Shonen anime/manga goes Naruto or FMA is not even in my TOP 5

IMO in no order.

One Piece
HxH
Gintama
JoJo
AOT (controversial I know)

Is more satisfying to watch than both FMA and Naruto.

Non of these shows made me extremely bored or made me so angry due to stuff written/shown in manga, where Naruto and FMA did. In fact, all these shows made me hooked from start to finish.

Granted I'd say FMA was the best neutral, because other than being boring for me, it did everything right, where Naruto showed me massive middle finger in the end which I'll never forgive.

Most importantly FMA had a definite ENDING which is a big positive.

 

One Piece is basically Naruto in sea and only positive is it doesn't have a Botato like sequel

 

Lets agree to disagree.

Im curious? What would you choose, OP or Naruto?

Also in your opinion what are FMA's biggest strengths?

One Piece obviously considering Naruto's side chars become redundant[Not a bad thing but many end up as hollow shells of part 1 achievements like Lee and Neji] in like first one third of story and also last one third of story is basically war arc.
Naruto's biggest positive over One Piece was its Power system which was literally turned hot garbage later half but got absolutely shatted on in Botato where every Tom, Dick and Harry has power of chakra absorption.

FMA's biggest strength is Author had a vision she completed it without stretching the story much unlike OP or Naruto. It also helps that its set in Human like world setting so it makes world exploration not a priority which One Piece excels in while Naruto puts on a backburner.
