    I never said that amd doesn't have defective cpus, most recent two intel gens defective rate >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> amd defective rate >> old intel defect rate. A speculated defect rate of 25% is ******* wild. That's 1 in every 4.

    Gobb is absolutely not an AMD fanboy XD

    I remember up until about 2012, AMD was notorious for CPUs that reached ridiculous temperatures. A buddy of mine had a rig with a Phenom II X2 and one with a Phenom II X4 that could both touch 104 Celsius during gaming. Heck, they'd touch 80 just during everyday usage.

    However, since 2014, I have noticed AMD and Intel matching each other in terms of . . . issues.

    Yeah, AMD used to have all kinds of issues. They still do have some, but right now Intel is worse, which is worrying. I'm kinda concerned because it seems like a hardware defect, so mass replacing CPUs or refunds would be really bad.

    Nah, I have a 7800x3d (AMD), I had an 8700k (intel). 8700k was built different, got liquid metal on the board/around the area outside of the ihs, cleaned it off as best as I could and it just worked lmao.
