This issue is a lot more complicated. You not only have to look at religion and caste factors and the whole arranged marriage bs, but also the absolute dogshit state of our economy, job market, and housing market. It also doesn't help that we are, at out core, a capitalist rat-race society which prioritizes self-enrichment, putting others down, and having no empathy.

All of these together have resulted in a sick society with prevalent issues such as this.

Things could be worse for me as well. But that is just self-consolation. I hate how things are going on the whole.
