Episode 1 was good. Ryo Mihara died in his own world and was reincarnated while not having any specific "quest" to have to do, like slay the demon lord, etc. During his time with who is akin to an angel, he wished to have a slow and relaxing life and was given water magic to use. He was sent to "Phi" where 20% of humans can cast spells and more specifically a house with a monster repelling barrier and 2 months of supplies, in the Forest of Rondo. Interestingly, he also has an unknown gift which is eternal youth.

Ryo did well starting out, practicing magic to be able to use water magic offensively, and also using his knowledge of chemistry to turn water into ice, and also heat water. With the ice, he can use it as a weapon, or in another use turning it into a magnifying glass basically to use to create fire.

The first monster he took out was a lesser boar. The next monster he had a run in with was an assassin hawk which fled due to him taking its eye. A Dullahan randomly appeared and started to sort of train him before giving him a weapon. The assassin hawk returned evolved and they fought. Ryo won and slayed it before a dragon speaking with telepathy appeared, Lewin. Lewin was looking for the assassin hawk, and was impressed with Ryo defeating it. I guess the Dullahan was related to the Fairy King, as the sword is the sword of the Fairy King.

Episode 2 was good. Ryo came across a ship wreck when he visted the beach to get some seafood. He happened to find a lone survivor, so helped them. Turns out Abel was on a ship of smugglers, so he wasn't concerned with them being dead. Makes sense that Ryo is in rags basically, because he's got not cloth or threat to mend them.

I wonder if the point about 50% of people in the central provinces being able to use magic is relevant given the "angel" said only 20% could use it, or if it's more about using magic with a staff, vs without is like Ryo can do. Or, maybe it's some areas just have a higher percentage of magic users.

Ryo is now accompanying Abel at his request to the town of Lune located in the Kingdom of Knightley to try and find his friends, which seems to be far north. As a parting gift, the Dullahan gave him an attire. Wonder if it has special properties like the sword.

Seems that Ryo's magic is indeed different from the normal, at least what Abel is familiar with. Seems like he is very high level. They encountered some rock golems which were a little different from the generic humanoid shapes often used. Ryo quickly defeated them using a huge block of ice and physics dropping it on them. xD They got a magic stone from one golem.

A behemoth and seem wyverns faced off, with the behemoth taking them out without effort. Seems the roar of it nullified their magic. The Behemoth is massive. Looks like they will go through a dungeon in the future, and one is in Lune. They came across some more wyverns crossing the mountains and took them out getting some more magic stones.

Episode 3 was good. Ryo and Abel made it to the town of Kailadi without further incident. Abel had to be Ryo's guarantor for his entry due to the lack of ID, so that is something he will get when registering with the guild. They plan on selling the monster materials as they would need to be an alchemist to make use of it otherwise. Ryo seems interested, so he might take that route. Ryo was elated to get curry with rice, he thought it would be a struggle to find. xD

Soon after, they made it to the town of Lune finally, and more specifically the adventurer's guild. Everyone was happy to see Abel back, seems he's quite popular. Abel did a "Rank-up" registration for Ryo, due to being above B rank and with the skills witnessed, which pushed Ryo straight to D rank instead of F rank. Ryo also had a run in with an elf, and she was interested in him, especially due to the Fairy King's attire he had.

The Guild Master was impressed with the amount of magic stones they got from monsters, and surprised at the volume, given it would usually take many people to take out Wyverns. Abel's team doubts Ryo's abilities, which is understandable given the way he uses magic is apparently basically impossible. I'm sure they will see in the future!

They had a nice celebratory event to welcome Abel back but more specifically in Ryo's honour for helping him. Ryo was assigned to a room with two existing guys Nils and Eto and another new guy Amon. Seems like everyone is pinning after the clerk Nina.

Episode 4 was good. Ryo has attended class for a while now and learnt the ropes of dungeons theoretically, so he and Amon along with the rest of the class will be venturing into a Dungeon. Ryo queried about teleportation within dungeons, but it isn't too common seemingly, and not in Lune's dungeon.

The dungeon should be fairly safe given it's the top floor. Ryo and Amon took out a soldier ant, which is just a little bigger than usual. xD The soldier ants seem to be unusual on the first floor, but according to Abel, they can just dig tunnels to the first floor. The room mates were excited to meet Abel. xD

On their next dungeon endeavour, Ryo and Amon encountered some wolf monsters. While Abel struggled a little and exerted a lot of effort, it was fine for Ryo.

Later when Ryo was alone, an eclipse occurred and he was attacked by an Akuma, and she seems powerful allegedly as strong as a behemoth or griffon. Even still, Ryo held out on his own, although it seems his attire saved him from being badly injured. Her name is Leonore Urraca Alburquerque and she seemingly had fun fighting him and seemed to know a bit about his gear being connected to the Fairy King. She departed given her time was up. I guess they can only appear during an eclipse. After this, Ryo helped his room mates who were being picked on by Dan and his posse, but they were chased off.

Episode 5 was good. Eto, Nils and Amon went into the dungeon again and came across some goblins on the 5th layer, which is highly unusual. So much so, that once the clerk Nina was alerted of it, she reported it to the guild master who feared it was another Great Tidal Bore event, so made plans to counter it if needed with help of the regional knights, and gathered the Crimson Sword lead by Abel and White Brigade lead by Phelps to investigate for signs of it. Despite Abel and Phelps apparently being childhood friends, their relationship is a little awkward.

The magic user from Abel's party Lyn continues to struggle to find any information on magic that exists like Ryo is able to use, so continues to not really believe it.

Ryo tried using his water magic to propel himself at high speed, which ended up being a dud, so he went off to the library to look more into Akuma and alchemy. At the library, Ryo ran into the elf lady again, Sera. She is intimately familiar with the library books, and specifically what he was after isn't available but she was helping him find some useful books.

The parties lead by the guild master went to investigate the dungeon, but Abel had Lyn Probe it before entering which confirmed that the Great Tidal Bore was already upon them, so they evacuated and the adventurers and arranged knights fought off hordes of goblins. With the majority of the goblins defeated, The Crimson Sword and White Brigade descended to take down the rest and then the three Goblin Generals before the Goblin King came out. Although it was extremely strong, thanks to planning, Abel's team took it out. Ryo missed the whole thing by being at the library lol. Some strange black void door is within the dungeon.

Episode 6 was good. Ryo returned to the guild all celebrating their victory over the goblins. The poor guild master isn't having anywhere near as fun with the bunch of paperwork he has to do as a result of it. The Royal Capital is also sending researchers to investigate what happened, even with the dungeon sealed off for a month. Lyn was happy to meet Ryo and asked about if he really could use magic in the way Abel described and seemed to just believe it because he said yes lol. Not sure why she doesn't just ask for a demonstration. She also found out about Ryo not really needing to use incantations which is obviously also out of the ordinary. xD

With the dungeon closed, there's no jobs left for Nils, Eto and Amon. In that case, Ryo offered to hire them and pay them a good amount of gold, in exchange for collecting some magic copper ore outside of the dungeon.

Interestingly, Dan who was douche defended a girl from some lecherous knights sexually harassing her. Ryo did help with his magic from afar, but Phelps ended up stepping in. Turns out he is of nobility, more specifically the next heir of House Heinlein, and the former commander of the royal knights' son. Later the same knights tried ambushing Phelps but were all killed by the woman, Shenna who uses fire magic.

Abel requested Ryo's help at night to gather up some less than noble knights on behalf of one of the investigators dispatched to Lune, who's an old acquaintance of his. They had a run in with some sketchy looking adventurers who targeted them, but were defeated. They left it to the town guard to take care of them.

After some back and forward, the investigators and guild master came to agreement about the terms for investigating the dungeon. They would be accompanied by Abel's squad with others to follow. Seems like trouble, apparently in the last Great Tidal Bore a group of A ranks lead by an S rank never returned so no one knows what goes on there after the Great Tidal Bore.

The investigators encountered that strange black void-like door and when trying to gauge the mana density beyond it, they all vanished likely teleported away. That left the water mage girl Natalie Schwartzkoff as the sole person remaining, so she will presumably get help from Ryo who helped her deliver a message to Abel, given Abel said to go to Ryo if she even needed help again.
