Analyzing the WCI Arc

Mates just thought i will make thread regarding the current arc which has received criticism and praise yes , the Whole Cake Island . As well as i know Odachii is great illustrator probably one of the best storytellers of his times . So coming to WCI i do get the arc has been fast paced .

My rating so far stands 8.5/10 still because Big Mom has truly been interesting villain a complete different type of character different from Doflamingo .

To my point this arc has been full of deception , trick and back stabbing we look back from all the chapter . My only disappointment was vinsmokes were to obvious about Big Moms or Judge really thought Bm needs them more they need her ,

Coming to the fights i do agree it has been disappointing well what could be done in 5 seconds . Even with all preparation Strw hats looked still weak against Big Mom pirates .

Katakuri and his siblings are still strong mind you . However i am interested how oda ties up current flash back with current events .

All i have to say the arc is not over yet so stay tuned . By the way i am really excited about Big Mom's power she is certainly a worthy yonko .

 

Arc is decent and villains are decent too it's just that BM disappointed me.Also Sanji disappointed me as well as of now.

But I enjoy Luffy and Bege ally

Hopefully it will get better by the end.

 

I agree and really sad Sanji could have been more useful in this arc . He hardly got any fight after time skip . I really dont like the pace of the manga right now .

The biggest disappointment was Smoothie i just hope Oda did not forget her she is a Yonko Commander . Consider Wano and Reverie will start very soon i really doubt there will be any more fights .

I need to note Katakuri mochi fruit really did pacified Luffy down . Considerinng he can see future too is there chance he saw straw hats escaping with sanji away from Whole cake island . It would be pretty stupid if that happens and they are end up fighting germa clones in that confusion .
