I continue to walk towards Umbra watching over my shoulder

 

You turn your back to Tyria, and glance over it. She looked positively livid. You scoffed and walked over to Umbra. "You alright there kid?" you asked her. She nodded in response. From behind you, you could sense Tyria creeping up behind you. Your turned to look over your shoulder. "Please don't, Tyria."

I hold out my hand to Umbra keeping an eye on Tyria

 

Tyria froze. You kept an eye on the sneak as you held out a hand for Umbra. The girl stumbled to get up, and you found yourself having to give her your full attention. You hear Tyria shift behind you. It seems like she's trying to pull the Combat Knife on you.

What will you do - disarm her, or kill her?

I decide to disarm her, if I kill her straight away there is a chance Umbra could freak out

 

You baited Tyria further in, crouching down to Umbra's level. When you felt her close the distance, you turned - swiftly knocking her over with a low, sweeping kick. The facade was over now. It was written all over Tyria's face. She was intent on killing you.

I get ready to attack, not caring what Umbra sees anymore

 

I make sure to aim for the shoulder of the arm holding the knife, planning to plant my heel on it.

 

Tyria stumbled backwards. You readied yourself. With murder in her eyes, she charges you full-force, using her control over fire to cover your knife in a veil of fire. You lift your leg and in one swift movement, bring it down on Tyria's shoulder, hard. She groaned, her grip loosening on your knife. You look down at her in amusement.

"Are you sure you want to continue?"

I use suggestion to implant the idea of her giving me the knife in her mind.

 

You close your eyes and inhale. You hold out your hand. "Give me the Knife, Tyria." you say firmly. You notice her body relax a little. You only nudged her gently with the Suggestion Rune, but she didn't seem to want to let up easily. You pushed her more. "Pass it over or drop it."

Her fingers slowly opened. Not taking any chances, you quickly knocked it out of her hand. She screams at you, and you lose the grip of suggestion you had on her. She jumps at you, fireball in hand.

I blink to the knife, immediately reminding Tyria how mortal steel can make anyone.

 

You take the knife in your hand, brandishing it in front of Tyria. She sends a fireball your way, which hits you square in the chest. You rush forward.

What will you do? Go in for the kill? Try to restrain her?

Rage overcoming me I go in for the kill

 

You decide to go in for the kill. As you rush forward, Tyria stumbles backward and looses her footing. You dive on top of her and plunge your knife into her chest. Tyria screams and trashes around, burning the grass around her. You let go of the knife and wrap your hands around her neck, strangling the life out from her. After a short while, her body goes up in flames and all that is left behind is an egg.
