Synopsis​

Was it all just a coincidence, or was it inevitable? Ichigo Kurosaki gained the powers of a Soul Reaper through a chance encounter. As a Substitute Soul Reaper, Ichigo became caught in the turmoil of the Soul Society, a place where deceased souls gather. But with help from his friends, Ichigo overcame every challenge to become even stronger.

When new Soul Reapers and a new enemy appear in his hometown of Karakura, Ichigo jumps back into the battlefield with his Zanpakuto to help those in need. Meanwhile, the Soul Society is observing a sudden surge in the number of Hollows being destroyed in the World of the Living. They also receive separate reports of residents in the Rukon District having gone missing. Finally, the Seireitei, home of the Soul Reapers, comes under attack by a group calling themselves the Wandenreich.

Led by Yhwach, the father of all Quincies, the Wandenreich declare war against the Soul Reapers with the following message: "Five days from now, the Soul Society will be annihilated by the Wandenreich." The history and truth kept hidden by the Soul Reapers for a thousand long years is finally brought to light.

All things must come to an end as Ichigo Kurosaki's final battle begins!

Episode 1 was an absolute banger. Man, looks like they aren't shying away from the gore at all with the amount of blood shown and the severed limb. So nostalgic having Number One play as they took on hollows. Looking forward to everything to come! :D

 

Episode 2 was great. So nostalgic seeing Nel, Harribel and their underlings. So now the captain meeting has established the quincies are behind things. Next ep should be good.

 

Episode 3 was great! Kisuke rescued Dondachaka. I forgot about the Tres Bestia's beast which was doing well, until Quilge used the reishi absorption and took its power. Ichigo is now dealing with him. The soul society invasion has officially begun and Kira was brutally taken out. Next ep gonna be good.

 

Episode 4 was kino. So nostalgic listening to the remixes of old OSTs. The captains and lieutenants are starting their battles. Some Bankai are already stolen. Urahara, Chad, Orihime and Ichigo are also in a bad spot. Next ep should be good!

 

Episode 5 was great. Man, feel Ichigo's frustration with being unable to get out and just listening to everyone dying/losing. Byakuya, Renji and Rukia already you. I don't remember if the flashback and Choujiro's Bankai was even in the manga, but it was a great scene either way. Then Yamamoto being so angry the Sternritter was instantly reduced to Ash. Based Kenpachi taking out three enemies, but was now taken out by Yhwach. Yamamoto vs Yhwach next ep.

 

Episode 6 was great. They did a great job of Yamamoto vs Yhwach. Was nice seeing Aizen again too. Next ep will be good too.

 

Episode 7 was great. The added scenes of the previous Gotei 13 was great. Could really feel Shunsui's agony, the others were a bit briefer. Loved how Ichigo entered, just vaporized one of them kek. Bit with Byakuya was great. Man with the blut it's so obvious in hind sight back feel like back in the day it felt super vague. Squad Zero next ep I think.

 

How will bleachfags ever recover?

 

Episode 8 was good. Was great to see Kukaku and Ganju again and that was also the fullbrings, IIRC. Squad Zero are an absolute unit lol. Next episode is Kenpachi vs Unohana start I think? Nice.
