    Maybe we can use one of those online SS sorters where the participants only have to provide their e-mail address to get their giftee and a list of their giftee's preferences. That way it will be easier for people to know what their giftee likes.

    It sounds complicated. We just tell all participants to tell their interests, i.e; what gifts they would like when they sign up for the contest.
