I thought they were meant to send you info around what they did or something lol Well good luck dude. If it's still fucked then I'd probably just sell it and get something else not asus.

It is why I have considered increasing my budget and going for the Galaxy A55. However, I will also consider waiting for the A36 and A56, which should be coming in December and, according to a family friend who works in Samsung R&D, they have some great improvements over their predecessors. Then I can either buy one of the new ones or - if they don't impress me - I can buy the A35/A55 at great discounts when their successors release. I had considered other brands' devices as well, but they fail massively in one or two areas despite being outstandingly good in others. The Samsung A3x and A5x series are "jack of all trades" devices; with the A34, A54, A35, A55 all being tremendous hits by Samsung (it seems they learned from their successes with the A52/A52s and from their failures with the A33 and A53).

    This:
It is also a case-by-case basis. I like eating in restaurants, but there are some cases where I would prefer eating in my car (even though I don't like it) as it seems like the safer option for my mental state.

Some people are just careful enough eaters. And Indians are especially skilled at managing to eat anywhere and everywhere. It also depends on the type of food.

I have come to fukking hate Whatsapp. Unfortunately, I have been forced to have that cancer app on my phone and use it for the sake of work. A lot of my clients call me on Whatsapp or send me data on it. It seems Indian people have forgetten that they have fukking email on their phones as well.

The worst part is that I have been forced to use Whatsapp on my laptop as well (Whatsapp for Windows). This is because it is easier to manage shit on the desktop version versus mobile. Also easy to send long-ass messages when you have a big physical keyboard to type them out with.

Some people who have extreme social anxiety, forms of autism or Asperger's, or currently going through a mental breakdown find it easier to eat in their car in the parking lot than in the restaurant. They may have other reasons as well.

Asus devices (other than their smartphones) are made in the very same factory as Acer and MSI systems. And, as I have stated before, they have only high quality chassis with shite internals. Acer is the opposite. And MSI? It proves that you can give high quality at a low price, unlike Asus.

I have a Galaxy A51 which I have been using since February 2020. And do note that it has a CPU that is two-thirds as powerful as the one in the A32 and the A52. It is rather smooth in day-to-day usage (as smooth as a four and half year old budget device can be). Your friends' A32 and A52 are probably fukked because they haven't been taking good care of those devices and have loaded them with digital STDs.

Not always true. Every year, some cheaper Samsung device comes along that offers immensely superior value for money than the more expensive models.

    Examples:
    Galaxy A30s vs A51
    Galaxy A52s vs A72
    Galaxy A33 vs A53
    Galaxy A73 vs S21FE
    Galaxy A14 vs A24
    Galaxy A35 vs A55
    Galaxy M35 vs M55
    Galaxy A55 vs S23FE

Not really. It is always a case-by-case basis with smartphones. Both across brands and even within brands.

A35 would be fine for your mum. A55 is more than fine for you, especially with its flagship grade Knox security features. You get performance on the level of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (non-plus base variant) which is just one step below flagship level performance. And the A55 is among the best mid-rangers when it comes to battery life this year, even shitting on some of Samsung's own flagships.

My Galaxy A51 with an Exynos 9611 (comparable to the Snapdragon 665) runs smoother than my sister-in-law's Galaxy M31 with the exact same SOC, exact same OS on release, and exact same updates :harunolaugh

This is true. However, you can keep a mid-ranger running rather smooth even for five years. My A51 and an aunt's M30s are examples of this. It is only entry levels ones that really give you trouble - often just within two years.

Also, the Galaxy A35 and A55 and comparable mid-rangers from other brands can't really be considered "cheap". Affordable? Sure. But not cheap. You don't get IP67/IP68 ratings and batteries guaranteed to last five years minimum in a device that can be labelled "cheap".

My A51 is 4.5 years and still doing well in daily tasks. And I would like to point out that this is the 6 GB RAM iteration with another anti-virus application running in background. It only has issues when I really push it and signal reception strength has degraded.

They probably spent three weeks just playing on your device and ******* up your saves.

Sometimes I can't be arsed to get my laptop out when I want to watch something, and use my phone. I watched the entirety of Spy X Family on my phone.

Seems like an option for him at this point.

    @JoeJoe
How old is that fukking thing anyway?

Man, I can't think of using Whatsapp for that sort of communication. ******* wild. Especially when it's notorious for scammers, but I guess you can say the same about other similar services anyway.

Oh, I mean if you're going to eat in the car, I would drive to another location instead of just the carpark. Like a park, beach front, or somewhere nice.

Too much to reply to regarding the phones, but I did read it all. xD Seems like we're mostly on the same page.

Yeah. I would prefer it if my clients sent me shit over email, which is definitely more secure than Whatsapp, but then I recall that Indians are uncaring with their email ids as well. So it'd be no different.

As someone who has been there, take it from me: they might be going through some stuff. However, I do get the latter part of this.

Yeah, often a mid-ranger is all you need. No need to spend twice as much on a flagship; not when something half the cost of a flagship gives you everything you need and even then some.

No idea man, for me personally, I always tend to increase my budget to get something I won't regret buying.

Laptop is 2 years old. Mad state it run all tests and it was considered good LOL no overheating no no thing, so I can only assume it's the charger at this point.
