    I see some people and news media mourning the death of Mario Vergas Llosa. You see him described as only a "Nobel prize winning novelist". The NY Times and WaPo even have appreciation pieces on him.

    Yeah... Mainstream news media is just fukking shite. I am so glad I shifted to independent sources.

    RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti have not even been officially released yet (just announced). And a cousin of mine (the one who works in Nvidia) is saying there are already issues of stocks and with power connectors melting.

    How does the power connector melt with such low power draw??? AFAIK 4080s/4070tis didn't have the melting issue, I don't think 5080s did either but not 100%

    There are indeed reports of power connectors melting on RTX 5080s and 5070s. Notebookcheck even had a news article on that.

    As for the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti release fiasco: Linus Tech tips lost his shit with Nvidia.
