They don't care bout their own people, let alone an ambiguous community that it's tragedy isn't covered by the mass media and thus wouldn't stir much reaction from human rights activists/islamic mvmts. The system of alliance between them and America is quite flip floppy, they hate their interventions (specially in regards to human rights) but they seek their favor at the same time. China doesn't care much about any of that and is steadily pulling the rug from underneath America, since for an oppressive regime, it's a good choice/alternative.

If The government persecute any group the ripple of effect will be felt throughout the region and it will affect the political system there and said govt will likely lose power from that region while there in no such thing in china

also during Sino-Soviet split china was perfect pawn to destabalise the USSR since Soviets were already busy in west and threat perception in East was low. Turning chinese against them increased their defense spending and needs later on by engaging itself in south in Afghanistan soviets literally dug off their coffin.

and lets take example of India. we are around rougly 3000 km from east to west and north to south. Our worskhorse of Air force Su30MKI's have same range;The new Dassault Rafale will have range of 3700 km which means there would be few aircraft that can patrol entire country in case of conflict ie in north and NE with china and west with Pakistan


The ussr measured some 10k-13k kms so it would be disaster for them keep up with china and Europe at same time add east already had south korea;japan and Taiwan as USA's allies

i was a communist so i read very enthusiastically about Soviets and the Chinese

also since i am an atheist i have read about them and most are producet communist rule which forced it on them. China is the only region which still does it

 

Interesting. I'm also an atheist, but I'm centre-left and never once believed in communism.
