Creating a Suggestion: Guidelines [READ BEFORE CREATING A SUGGESTION]

    Yo guys, how's it all going? After looking over things for a while here, and thinking on this for a good while, i thought it'd be better to do things this way from now on. I'll post a template below, and it's simple, really. To post a suggestion, that Template will be mandatory, or it won't really be considered. Now, that's not all. In order for an addition to be added, depending on what it is, a requirement of 5-10 backers will be needed. This is to make sure more than one person wants the addition, in the first place.

    It's pretty simple, huh? As for backers, well i mean, all they really need to do is like your thread, or make a post. Of course, alts won't really be counted, but, that goes without saying.

    Do understand that, this is for the sake of adding things that will actually be used, that's all.

    After a brief discussion with our staff, we've decided that creating suggestions for the site needs to have a few guidelines. Suggestions on features are a very important idea for us in order to develop as a community, which is why we need to make sure all of us are on the same page.

    PLEASE KEEP NOTE THAT THIS GUIDE IS ONLY FOR SUGGESTIONS OF FEATURES FOR THE SITE

    First of all, a few criteria to follow before making your suggestion heard...

    • You must have at least 500+ posts. (Not an active rule currently.)
    • You must be an active member on the site for at least 2 months. (Not an active rule currently.)
    • Your suggestion has to be backed by at least 10 members on the site in order for it to be heard. Upon creating the suggestion thread, please provide a poll as well.
    • You must be able to handle any criticism from staff members as much as possible. If you feel the criticism is being misconducted, please message another staff member. All of us are willing to hear your concern, so if you feel that the suggestion needs to be taken on a personal level, don't hesitate to PM staff members and continue the discussion for the suggestion there.
    Now, you're probably wondering why we need such guidelines on making suggestions...

    In all honesty, we're just really afraid of your suggestion going to waste. In the past, when members make good suggestions, the idea ended up only being backed by a few members (and staff members), but after a while, they just decide to leave the site and their suggestion never really holds any weight. With our criteria in place, it shows that you have experience with our site, as well as how everything works on our site in general. This is not in any means a way to restrict a member to make suggestions, but rather to make their suggestions actually hold much more benefit and meaning to the site.
