Dragon Ball Super - Episode 112 Discussion

I'm always up for more screentime of my boy Goku. What can i say, he's the hero of our childhood.

Though it's good to have the focus on other characters once in awhile and even if i'm not the biggest Vegeta fan.. i'm still looking forward for his spotlight.
Also the Gohan and Piccolo interactions never get old and are always interesting.

 

Goku going SSJ3 is a huge waste of stamina but since Goku is a bit thick I think he's just going to do it to show Cauli what sayians are capable of. It doesn't make much sense otherwise. Vegeta and Goku's base form seem to be stronger than U6 in their SSJ forms, which isn't surprising since they've attained Blue. IIRC that powered up their base form as well. Talking about power levels is always a bit of a slippery slope with dragon ball but SSJ1 Goku is probably enough to handle Cauli in her SSJ2 form. Maybe.

I want more Vegeta though. Why focus so much on the Cauli vs Goku match when Vegeta just started a fight with Toppo!? Typical Dragon Ball.

 

Goku "recovering" doesn't really make much sense to me here either to be honest. Dragon Ball likes to pull a lot out of thin air but even looking back, most of the "recovering" is done with a senzu bean or with a significant time away or someone transferring energy. I'm not really sure how he'll be able to recover enough to the point of being able to challenge Jiren again (which we know he will). When he got knocked out of Ultra Instinct, there was only 28 minutes or so left. Sure, Freeza gave him some energy but it's questionable how much it's going to help. It's not enough to get him into Blue and going SSJ is already pushing it.

 

lol @ Vegeta getting roasted by toppo which makes me feel he has something up his sleeve or he'll get a power up soon. Vegeta being a strict mentor as always and telling cabba once he wins, he'll revive universe 6. Kawaii. Meanwhile, Freeza has some other plans of his own while also showcasing how big of a joke all these universes are and blitzing cabba like that. I'm having a hard time thinking how a newly acquired SSJ2 with a weak base form Caulfila can even keep up with Goku's mastered super saiyan. Maybe it's because Goku's drained, but the mere idea of it just disturbs me. a good episode nonetheless 4/5.

 

I like the dynamic of Vegeta being a mentor to Cabba, whether he thinks so or not, he can actually make a great teacher. Champa seems to be a big fan of his after he saved Cabba, lets not forget they were on the same baseball team and did a couple of double team moves that nearly killed Yamacha . Also did Cabba pull of the Galick Gun when he fought Freiza? Lol

So Freiza's attention were layed bare. I mean I think we all had and idea of what they were, but I'm interested to see how he plans to make it fall through.

Looks like next episode will mainly focus on Goku vs Claufia, I'm sort of disappointed since I wanted to see Toppo vs Vegeta, since that actually is looking like its going to be a good fight and we haven't seen Vegeta actually fight seriously yet or fight anyone at his level for that matter.
