    Pretty solid episode, I enjoyed the flashbacks Vegeta had which kept him going back even though he blatantly knew that he didn't have a shot. Wish that he did take Jiren's arm, that would've been amazing, but it would likely have been bad writing, not that super hasn't done so anyway. Goku's moment right before UI again was also well executed. Looking forward to the next episode, especially with the reveal of Goku Blanco. kek

    Vegeta's character surprised me all throughout this arc, legit. Man, what a guy.

    Aight, where to start?

    Putting Vegeta aside, my boy Goku - Just in time! I think his transition into UI was well done. That moment kinda hyped me up, I wasn't expecting it in this episode at all.

    He seems to be annoyed at the things Jiren has been spewing, so probably why he's triggered now.

    UI is cool and all, but did my boy Jiren just blast him away? And did Goku just pull out Master Ui, with white hair? Wew lad. That shit is hype as ****! He's legit looking beast right now. I guess it's safe to say Jiren isn't just some villain, he'll probably be 50/50 with Goku. I can see them winning based on 2/1, thanks to Frieza, and the time limit ending.

    Also, damn, Bulmas new VA isn't bad

    Yeah, pretty sure at that point it wasn't mastered, so no the best offence? After that is when he "masters" imo. Yeah, not shabby for another recolour. XD Yeah, they're trying hard to make us forget Freeza lol.

    Pretty sure that was the original VA, I don't think the new one was in this ep. Reused audio?

    Yeah, wonder how attacking will differ from normal?

    Man, they did so much injustice.

    Not 100% but I am fairly certain. There is one part which could have been the new one, when vegeta was like, "let me rest", but rest were flashbacks of old eps.

    At least frieza knew to stay down this episode. Vegeta buying time for goku was great, even if it made me salty that there won't be any gogeta. Goku going UI in this episode was far better than the first two times. Really all around great emotional and hype episode.

    Next episode should be the climax of the Arc with both sides going full power.

    Anyone wanna take bets on frieza winning the tourney, either directly or indirectly.

    Either jiren eliminates goku and ends up a draw as time expires or time expires and u7 wins since they have 2 fighters. Or goku wins outright and frieza was just to throw us off.

    Is it just me or did this ep have so many old school moments? Long staredowns, dramatic slow paced music, tons of looped punches?

    4/5 for me and oh shit is he gonna put SSB with Mastered UI? RIP lol

    Loved that they included some flashbacks for vegeta and what he wants to protect, but i expected more of him this episode. Well, Ultra instinct is back in full force. Interesting how Jiren couldn't dodge Goku's punch. I guess they kinda nerfed him. Hopefully we manage to get a good fight and they end the series well.

    Good catch. Similar thing happened with Vegeta before. It's not really a nerf though since we did see him still be OP before and (from the preview) after but for some reason Toei just likes to put a couple of instances where he takes a hit here and there for no reason at all. It just makes my head hurt.

    did you see the look on his face when goku punched him. it looked like he couldn't handle it at at all. Meanwhile, the first time Goku attained ultra instinct he only landed 1 kick when he went berserk. Jiren is overusing his power and it's starting to get really lame. His hype is slowly being whittled down. He pummeled Goku with so many hits when it should've been over in a instant. If you look back at the previous jiren vs ssb goku fight, you'll find out that Jiren totally overwhelmed Goku as opposed to here where you feel like the power gap isn't as big.
