eSports could be an official part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

This would be a really good move, attracting even more viewers to take a look at the Olympics for more than what it is. eSports is already one of the biggest and most successful forms of competition, and it's only getting bigger. However, many players among the gaming community have probably expressed their disapproval of the idea, and insisted on heavy regulations and very specific requirements for the players and their teams, etc. However, this is all just an early opinion I guess.

 

Yeah, but I mean it could be pretty boring depending on the game. Games like CS are more on the tactical offensive side which makes it kinda boring to watch (from the tournaments I've watched anyway), and if countries tried to put together national teams instead of using pre-existing organizations, the teamwork could be rather shit.

 

Seems hell weird, but I could still see it happening.
