Fights used to be the thing I looked forward to the most in this Manga. Now I'm just glad it's all over.

 

...Mashima, you used to be my third favourite mangaka... What happened to you? Why'd you have the dragons come back to supposedly kill Acno if all you needed was a magical tangerine and Ichiya? What was the point of setting up the Dragon King Festival to be a meeting between Zeref, E.N.D., and Acno, if Acno never even came close to them? Why all the hype of E.N.D. scaring Acno if they never meet? Why didn't you take a moment to have Natsu's flames turn to the Flames of Rebuke and Natsu giving a mini speech, where it shows all the people Zeref has ruined the lives of, then him somehow burning a being who's immortal and able to regenerate instantly would make more sense... There's so many ways Zeref's interaction could've been great in these chapters, but nope... In the end it came down to a fist fight with no strategy or logic, just screaming and punching...
