Synopsis​

In his past life, Prince Lloyd de Saloum was a commoner who could not become adept at magic, no matter how knowledgeable or obsessed he was about it. Now reincarnated into his current royal lineage, he receives a body with seemingly endless mana, making his desire to master all things arcane attainable. Moreover, as the seventh prince of the kingdom, Lloyd has no claim to the throne, allowing him to nurture his abilities as freely as he wants.

Unfortunately for Lloyd, ancient seals that imprison powerful demons begin to break down and release the horrors within, endangering the peace. With these monstrosities roaming around, Lloyd's overwhelming magical prowess is the ultimate weapon that can neutralize these threats before all things descend to chaos.

Episode 1 was good. Pretty interesting. So in his original life, Lloyd was a commoner who wasn't good at using magic, even though it seems he extensively studied it. I wonder why the noble executed him. When he was reborn and still a baby, Lloyd caused some pretty big damage with a spell he accidentally used. I looks like Lloyd causes some trouble for the maids and others that look after him, in pursuit of his learning all forms of magic. Some think there's no use forging connections wiht Lloyd as he isn't going to inherit the throne as the seventh prince, but some others see him as the reincarnation of the great William Bordeaux, the father of sorcery. Being a prince gives him access to incredible resources for his quest, which is good for him.

Lloyd put up a great fight with sword play against his instructor, Sylpha. He seems incredibly powerful, especially for his age. Although Sylpha won, it's hard to know how hard he was even trying. She also caught him out "cheating". After the training, when Lloyd was bathing, the maids tried to scare him with stories of an imprisoned demon sealed in a book in the forbidden library, although it had the opposite affect.

Lloyd found which book the demon was in, and set it free. The demon attacked him but Lloyd was able to defeat it, so it surrendered and agreed to serve him. The demon's name is Grim/Grimoire.

 

Episode 2 was good. Looks like Lloyd has a good relationship with at least one of his brothers, the second prince, Albert. Albert took Lloyd to shoot some targets with magic. Albert did fine, but Lloyd held back to only graze the targets. He did this hitting each of them, some of the people thought it was legit, but Albert realized he was purposefully doing it. Lloyd had an idea of taking Grim's body into his to give him a second mouth on his hand, allowing him to dual cast as demons could. He did this with two opposite higher level spells which punched a hole into space. Alberts wants to retain good relations with Lloyd.

After reading about A rank adventurers clearing out a dungeon and getting a bunch of mystically enhanced items, he decided to find a dungeon and clear it. To do this, he concocted a plan to make a dummy body and then implanted Grim's consciousness into it while taking his body. So far Grim has them fooled.

When out venturing, Lloyd stumbled across a B rank adventurer girl and martial artist, Tao. She's pretty strong and took out a bunch orcs. She handled them with no issues. Tao agreed to join up with Lloyd to go through the dungeon. Lloyd picked up that she was using Qi with her martial arts. Lloyd mixed his own appearance with Albert's to disguise himself, and Tao immediately fell for him. Thanks to this, she agreed to teach him a bit about using Qi, and he picked up on it basically straight away. After defeating the boss, Tao went to open the chest and was almost killed, but Lloyd got her out of the way of the attack. A Licht has appeared as the second boss!

 

Episode 3 was good. Tao kicked Lloyd out of the room to face the Licht alone, or more specifically get him to escape. While Tao faced it down, Lloyd received a distressing call from Grim, begging him to come back ASAP.

Tao tried her best, but ultimately everything was ineffective against the Licht. Lloyd came back in, saving her as the Licht was about to finish her off. He decided to try mixing magic and Qi, and he seemed successful. He dealt with the Licht with minimal effort.

In the chest, what seemed like a worn out poor quality dagger was the treasure. Tao was happy to let Lloyd keep it. Lloyd saw its true value in that it was enchanted. So by analysing it, he was able to figure out how to enchant things. He then requested swords from his brother's knights to enchant them. He had an 80% success rate which is unheard of, although because he tried to enchant some again, which broke, he ended up with what seemed like a 50% success rate. Now, he'll get to witness them in action!

 

Episode 4 was good. On their journey to take care of monsters, they were ambushed and with the enchantments to the weapons, the knights took out the monsters with little effort. One did go for Lloyd, but Tao appeared and "saved" him. Sylpha wasn't pleased with her, "being too close" to him. Tao is almost onto the fact that Lloyd is his under cover disguise, but not quite. With some encouragement from Albert, Tao agreed to accompany them for a while, as she has a job to clean up a temple.

While camping out for the night, they're attacked by more monsters and the bearwolf target appeared. This is the time that Grim warned Lloyd about a demon sealed in the temple that Tao is going to clean. Albert took out the bearwolf with magic and a moment later it regenerated and the demon appeared. All of the monsters had regeneration then thanks to the demon transmuting his mana. Lloyd learns this and manages to "master" it pretty damn fast. In the mean time, after the demon insults Lloyd, Sylpha starts to fight it. She's super strong and pretty brutal to it and seems to have mostly taken it out.

 

Episode 5 was good. The demon freed itself from the shrine, gaining access to full power. With this, it expelled miasma which knocked everyone one except Tao. He used that to subdue the monsters after killing their parents to train them as his army. Tao tried her best and put up a good fight, but was ultimately overwhelmed and then swallowed by one of the monsters. This is when Lloyd took the stage, with everyone else unconscious. He was naturally unaffected by the miasma thanks to his absurd mana. Lloyd then performed his own mana transmutation which turned all of the monsters docile and to his side.

With Pazuzu no longer controlling anything, he was now at 100%. With demons being "unkillable" with mana, Lloyd wanted to test it. When Pazuzu sensed his mana, he was overwhelmed due to how ridiculous it was. Pazuzu tried his best to flee, but was ultimately caught in a barrier by Lloyd. After a few minutes, Pazuzu was defeated and ultimately died. Right as Pazuzu was dying, the others began waking up. Lloyd played it off as "Robert" saving him/them.

When they returned to the castle, Albert praised Lloyd heavily to the king, thanking his enchantments for helping their survival. He even recommended that Lloyd be able to compete for the throne, but Lloyd declined.

 

Episode 6 was good. Lloyd tried to make the monster "do tricks" but it just would get confused. So he and Sylpha visited his sister, Alieze the sixth princess. She insisted that the way to "tame" animals and get them to follow was love. Lloyd figured out the trick was to project a mental image to them, which worked.

Lloyd met up with one of his other brothers Dian, who was very interested in his enchanting due to becoming a smith. He didn't believe it at first, but witnessed Lloyd in action. Then he wanted Lloyd's help with enchanting to achieve the ultimate spellbound sword. Turns out, they need monster cores to create the higher quality ingredients to eliminate failure. Lloyd went with Sylpha to register as an adventurer. Even with supressing his mana to 1%, he still scored A rank as a mage. Sylpha was also a legendary A rank adventurer back in the day called the Silver Blader. If she re-registered, she'd be dropped to ranks, so still couldn't do an appropriate dungeon. Luckily, they were joined by Tao who had gone up a rank to A rank and should could take them to go through dungeons.

Lloyd and Sylpha made it back pretty fast with the materials to enchant the higher quality swords and Dion's sword got the fire ball shooting enchantment fine. At the end, it seemed like one of those assassins that Sylpha mentioned appeared in the castle.

 

Episode 7 was good. Lloyd confronted the person that broke in, and was confirmed as one of the assassins of the assassins guild. She is a young girl Ren who can poison people with her mana, which easily causes deaths. Ren thought she defeated Lloyd, but he let her to follow her back to the hideout. Ren was chewed out by her comrades.

Lloyd arrived and fought all of the assassins guild members. Ren, Galilea, Crow, Babylon and Talia. They aren't bad people despite their reputation, and they live like that labelled as the blighted due to their inability to control their mana-based powers. Lloyd put a seal on each of them enabling them to control their powers, which made them all extremely grateful. The guild was formed by their leader who has gone missing, Jade, after he was last teleported away. They're going to investigate the lord of Lordost's manor where presumably Jade is.

 

Episode 8 was good. The letter advised how Jade was able to overthrow his father and become the new leader. Lloyd was quick to point out that it was unusual that Jade accurately teleported the letter if he supposedly couldn't control his ability. He raised the point that he was potentially either lying to them, or had learnt how to control it. The group still went on to meet up with Jade, although with some caution.

Jade and Ren were particularly close, as Jade found Ren living alone in the woods after she had killed her parents with her poison. Jade also came out to them that he was actually the third son of the lord of Lordost having deceived them. Although this was because he wanted to recruit them to help him take out his war mongering father, for peace. He wasn't a bad person. In the end, Jade decided to go alone to try and resolve things.

During the journey, Lloyd fell asleep after flying them most of the way there. They made the decision to leave while, while the group and Grim went on into Lordost. Initially, it was a happy reunion and everything was fine. Only for it to all go wrong. It became a town full of demons, and Jade was tortured to death before the demon took him over too. He started attacking the group and was trying to force Ren to reveal who put the seal on her. Right at this moment, Lloyd finally appeared and just nuked the whole place while shielding the group LMAO.

 

Episode 9 was good. Lloyd and Guisarme traded blows. It seems like Guisarme has the upper hand, but Lloyd hasn't really taken any damage either. Guisarme's magic where he just said die, that causes cardiac arrest, even just bypassed the barrier Lloyd had around him. Luckily Lloyd reacted in time and moved. Grim is begging Lloyd to leave as demons go from 1st class to 10th class. The 10th class demons seem to be the ones Guisarme has chasing down the assassins guild members. Pazuzu was an 8th class and Grim is a 3rd class. Guisarme however is beyond first glass and netherworld royalty, a demon lord. Even 100 1st class demons wouldn't stand a chance.

The next part of the encounter was mostly Lloyd on the defensive, running from Guisarme's magic. It also seemed that Lloyd was finished off with some instant magic, but it turned out to be a clone.

The members of the assassins guild were in danger. They tried fending off the demons with little success. Babylon opened the gate for them to escape, but the demons were breaking free from their restraints. Talia resolved to fight to the death to let the others escape, but Galilea joined her. Right when Talia was about to kill herself to take the demons with her, Albert, Sylpha, Dian and their army came through, halting things.

 

Episode 10 was good. Lol, Albert and Sylpha pinned the assassin's guild as the first ones to deal with. There was a bit of back and forth, but when Alieze arrived, she convinced them that they weren't malicious, so they focus switched to the demons and what happened to Lloyd. Initially, they were spilling the beans about Lloyd fighting a strong demon, before switching it up to him fighting someone weak. Sylpha went to run to Lloyd's aid, but the bridge was destroyed by Lloyd. Sylpha made some attempts to get across the destroyed bridge, but ultimately gave up.

The main focus was on the knights/assassins guild and Albert fighting the demons. Babylon gave Albert some wise words, that the people were already long dead and only the demons remained wearing them like skin suits. With that, Albert didn't hold back.

Back on the bridge, Sylpha continued to fight the 8th class demon, who is versed in sword arts. They were largely at a stalemate, before Sylpha finally revealed the sword she received from Lloyd. Lloyd noticed she always held back so she didn't destroy her swords, so enchanted one she couldn't break. She was able to kill the demon in a single blow.

 

Episode 11 was good. So far, Lloyd has been able to avoid all of the magic techniques used on him simultaneously. To try and counter attack, Lloyd used double casting, to cast before he was hit. With this, he created a large smoke screen blocking Guisarme's field of view of him, making it so that he couldn't teleport. Using many rock clones, Lloyd was able to land a hit, although it didn't do much. Lloyd ended up foregoing a shield and masked his presence to use his sword to decipher the teleportation magic, allowing him to learn it.

Using Qi, Lloyd was able to land many blows on Guisarme, pushing him into a corner. Lloyd almost had him straight into lava, which would've been bad. But that was narrowly avoided. Guisarme revealed his trump card, which is the thing that sets demon lords apart. The ability to freely control atmospheric mana. It allows them to reduce any creation to oblivion. It's called the mortal dark sphere.

 

Episode 12 was good. All of that build up, and Lloyd just cancelled it with his own. LMAO. Lloyd finished Guisarme off by casting two of the same spells, which completely obliterated him. All of the other demons were also finished off, and they held a memorial for them.

Albert confronted Lloyd, asking if he'd accept any and all responsibility for the assassins guild going forward, which could come back on him negatively, and he did. He was much more interested in studying their magic than caring about such things, or wanted them to die over it. So Lloyd got himself the assassins guild under his command, and Ren became like a mini Sylpha.
