Hey, welcome! I'll add you guys onto the affiliate thing, nice for us forum to stick together against the Discord menace. One day I'll stop being kinda lazy and finish rewriting our addons for XenForo 2 to complete the jump lol.
Let me know if I can be of any of assistance I have a few local installs of the latest XenForo versions laying around and I'm currently working on a Mafia game addon for OLF. I can't do it all alone obviously and I believe both of our laziness combined can produce great things for both of our communities
The last time I touched it was probably over a year ago, so I'm super rusty. The local install got borked when I tried to update the php version, I think. So I had to salvage what I had, and I honestly don't even recall specifically where I was up to or a lot of the practices. Although, I'm certain my practices are bad at best. I kind of just ""learnt"" going through addon files with trial and error, didn't even use an IDE or anything.
Pretty much that's how you get started hehe. Do you use Discord? Would be cool to share ideas about how we can spice up our forums and keep them out of the shadow realm
I do although I don't really use it very much at all, so I don't think there's much point but it's ummm I think the username is .gobb, if I'm looking at the right one
