Nice chapter. Looks like G5 Luffy doesn't always keep laughing. Will Momo be really holding up Onigashima like Oden held the scabbards? Will this be before or after Kaido is defeated? That last page was fire.

This is absolutely huge for Luffy. This if he already wasn't, makes him the best Shonen protagonist IMO.

What Kaido said about awakening, that Luffy's MIND AND BODY reached the state of AWAKENING is very good because Luffy wasn't CHOSEN to awake Nika fruit, LUFFY ALONE CHOSE IT.

His hardships and will to do all sort of stuff with his Gomu Gomu made him the Joyboy.

Zoan saying is just a myth. The same as it apparently "chose" Luffy, Luffy chose it himself.

 

It's kinda stupid saying "zoan had a mind of his own" when no one in 800 years awakened it. Either this Zoan's "mind" is stupid or Luffy is just that good to awake it

Toki literally said she jumped like 800 years in future to find new joyboy so hurr durr obviously

 

Even if it did, saying Luffy got niced is just stupid.

Luffy worked hard to get where he is, and he got Nika awaken because he is a work horse, not just because he is the MC.

That Zoan has a mind of it's own is just a myth since again in 800 years no one awaked it once, so if we take 100 years lifespan on average there was 8 different DF users who never awakened it.

Take it as you will but saying Luffy got it just because he is the MC is just mega stupid to me since you've seen his hardships throughout manga.
