You love to see an epic Luffy comeback, this time hopefully for good. Wonder how they'll deal with Saturn, but I am pretty sure Luffy can take care of Kizaru. Hell even Sanji deflected one of his Laser beams. Dorry and Brogy are here to take Luffy and co to Elbaf, wonder where Bonney and Kuma fit into all of this. I am so excited about Elbaf! I don't understand what you mean by this panel though.

Oden was a legendary samurai from Wano, the leader of scabards, a daimyo and the father to current shogun Momonosuke. Above all, his actions and personality at least to me is justified. Oden was celebrated as he should be, and Oden was the first to oppose Kaido and he lead the way for the others.

As for Luffy well I don't think it matters, but I will agree it's kinda odd seeing Luffy smile after seeing a literal panel of VB being stabbed. It's a mood switcher. Feel like Oda is telling us, it's time for a party, everything gon be alright.

I'd say goofy =/= serious, Luffy is indeed serious. Luffy's whole theme from the start is being a goofy odd ball and his most enjoyable thing is seeing everyone happy.

I don't agree with Nika's cocksucking though, it's fairly new and still not everyone is aware of this. Nika in this moment makes perfect sense IMO since Bonney never seen it, and Kuma is right there. It's a celebration of the Sun God. Also after years and years of reading One Piece, makes me happy seeing the growth of Luffy and what he became. His paralels for G5 are top tier. We kept hearing about Nika, but he was right there all along.

Come on, you can't tell me Luffy doesn't care, if anything, he cares the most, for everyone. Especially in Wano, even Luffy was shocked seeing the state.




Well Luffy is a God, I don't understand how can this be bad, he should be praised to oblivion IMO, people being excited about him gives me life. I heavily disagree on constant Nika wank since, he is the myth figure who appeared after years and years and a literal G O D. Like come on. What else should their reaction be? anything else than being hype and excited wouldn't make sense for a legendary persona to appear?

 

Fairs, but those are different things? Him not caring was different context? He didn't care for WB or BM or whoever because he was driven by his way of becoming the best. He cared for Oden because context was being on personal level, emotional connection. If Oden was before him, I am sure Luffy wouldn't give a shit, but the context of Oden here is different because he was dead.

Like come on, Naruto's way of it was just dogshit fullstop. Oda's way IS different, how is it not? Nika changed nothing Luffy wise for him. Luffy is more bouncier, happier than usual. Unless Luffy starts magically wielding and airbending space and disortion then I can agree. Naruto somehow had everything and anything at his disposal and was still being a shit character. Foreshadowing IS important for a good storytelling and Kishimoto was horrid in executing Indra and whatever the other name was. It happened out of thin air, plot wise it made 0 sense. Luffy's foreshadow was so suptile that at the time it was revealed it was just amazing how suptile yet so noticable was if we looked deeper into it. Luffy being Nika makes the perfect sense, I don't think that's even arguable, everything about Nika describes Luffy.

I do get your concern about "Everything Luffy does is now just attributed to Nika." But in the very chapter, first the giants said was STRAWHAT not Nika. Doubt anyone besides randoms and fodders care who Luffy bacame. Luffy will still be Luffy to us and all other characters.

Luffy is the Joyboy of the story. I think that was being obvious.
