I would build a cake farm and kidnip elderly retire homes and teach them how to bake while the staff look after them. - globs

Maybe - doesn't seem any different from a multicultural society. - globs
Roman Empire never fell eh? I imagine then that the ancient knowledge of Rome, Greece, Egypt, and other Mediterranean civilizations would never have been lost to Europe, more people would have been educated, libraries and universities would thrive, science and mathematics would have advanced considerably faster. Politics and social morality would have also advanced considerably faster, leading to more transparent bureaucracies, more tolerant societies (especially when it comes to LGBT peoples). The empire would have realized that its city plans were not bad but detrimental in many aspects (likely leading to more sustainable urban planning). All in all, it would actually be good. Sure the Roman Empire had major problems (such as with extreme xenophobia when it comes to anyone or anything too "exotic" and megalomania), but they would still be astronomically better than the church and were far more willing to assimilate foreign peoples and ideas into their society. -upsurge

B R Ambedkar, Gave a big middle finger to the Hindu Right Wing and engineered a secular constitution which laid the foundations for a tolerant government and society as well as a powerful secular Judiciary. Sure India has major problems right now (always had since independence). But imagine how much worse it could have been if the right wing lunatics won out. We'd be as troubled as Pakistan. -upsurge
