The town of Aynderil

@Dessa @Phenom and whoever else wishes to join.

The town of Aynderil (Eye-n-dur-ill) has been built over the centuries on the central part Silver’s river, which begins north at Moon lake. The soils around the town are fertile and good for growing crops such as rice. Though occasionally and somewhat unpredictably the river can flood. Traditionally a farming and trading village it has seen quite some growth in recent years as migrants from the surrounding areas make their way to it or through it. As such new goods and shops come by the town often with new markets opening up often. The Bazarre for the town has become famous for its wide variety of goods at a reasonable price. While not a large town it is growing and is most certainly not small.

The trio enters into the outside world the sun still in the sky but clearly getting latter in the day.

"I don't think all shops would be possible. But we can look at a good portion of them for sure. For now we should focus on what Dessa was aiming to get first. I can carry the items in my satchel which is just a modified magic item." She says showing the inside of her bag which is empty looking.

"Lead the way lady Dessa of Ravencross!" She says excited to be out with new people.

 

"I was going to head over to the Cobblers for a new pair of boots." Dessa said looking around town for the Cobblers shop. "Oh, I think it's down this way on the right near the Flower Shop." She waves her hand for Esca, and Shockwave to follow her.

 

"Oh," he mutters, disappointed, he'd really been excited by the prospect of getting to go to all of the stores. "I could always help carry items too, I'm not a freeloader."

He raised an eyebrow, turning to follow her. "New pair of boots? What's wrong with your current pair?"

 

"Seems to be a hole in the bottom of the left one." Dessa stops walking to lift her foot, so they could see the medium size hole. "I have tried fixing it myself but it never seems to last long."

 

"Nobody said you were Shockwave." She says to him, "For humanoids such as Humans, Elves and Gnomes like myself as well as many others one needs to replace certain items such as footwear as it gets worn down over time. Also its nice to just get new things sometimes" Esca says following Dessa looking at the hole in the boot.
"Yeah its about time you get a new pair. " Esca says to her

 

"Oh, I see." He nods, tilting his head in a smile again. "I understand now. Lead on to this shoe repair place. I am curious to see how they work."

 

Laughing merrily Dessa, turns back around to continue on to the Cobblers. Once the reach the shop, Dessa spots the owner and walks over to see what kind of boots would best ft her. "Ya'll can walk around the Shop while I try on a few boots." She takes a few pairs from the Cobbler, and sits on a bench to try them on. "Oh and Shockwave you can look through that window in the back to see how the boots are made."

 

"I see." He proceeds to what he assumes is the window and stares outside. "I do not see anything."

 

"Sorry I thought that would be the right place. Might be in another area of the shop." Dessa says trying to get her foot into one of the boots.

 

"I see people walking by." He muses, watching the milling crowd walk by. "Maybe this is the wrong window?"

 

Esca looks around the shop, not intent on buying anything herself. "Their selection is different from what we have up north." She says as she takes mental notes of what is available.

 

Dessa turns to look at where Shockwave was standing. "Oops, Try one of the other windows." She look over at Esca and nods in agreement. "Yes, they are a bit different from Raven Cross as well. But the prices aren't to bad here though. Dessa picks up the pair of boots she tends to buy. "I think I will take these, with the buckles on them."

 

"Those will look good on your Dessa" Esca says looking at her selection. "Jiyvan can get a bit pricey but it can workout if you know where to go, but being a port city and a major trading hub with the neighboring Principality drives up prices there. This town is cheaper to get goods at least for now it is" Esca remarks as she waits for Dessa to get her finished product.

 

"Okay," he mumbles, walking over to stare into another window, this time seeing a man working on a shoe. "I think this is the right one."

He pressed his face against the window. "This is fascinating."

 

"I know what you mean Esca, because Raven Cross was starting to get pricey as well." Dessa walks over to the Cobbler to pay him for the boots. Once done she goes over to Esca to give her the boots to hold. "Thanks for hold these for me Esca. Looks like Shockwave is having fun over there." She points while chuckling at Shockwave.
