Synopsis​

Cursed by a witch, the feral and tempestuous Guideau tenaciously searches for the culprit so she can exact revenge. To this end, she joins the Order of Magical Resonance, an organization that deals with everything connected to magic. The Order agrees to work with Guideau in return for her help solving the myriad of magic-related cases occurring across the world.

The Order's suave and mysterious mage Ashaf accompanies Guideau for the sake of successfully completing missions. As the pair traverses the land in search of that unknown witch, their experience with the fantastical world of magic grows ever more peculiar the further they advance in their journey.

Episode 1 was good. Seems like all witches were treated as bad, even if they were heroes in the past. This has caused some resentment form current witches no doubt. It also seems like they can live a very long life. A witch was the hero of a town, but this was all part of her plot to unleash some fire on the town to get revenge for her grandmother who was wrongfully murdered. This included betraying and trying to kill the girl that looked up to her as a master and who she was teaching. Assuming the "beast" monster form of Guideau is the curse. Apparently this is the natural enemy of witches. The duo were able to stop the bad witch and she's taken away to the magic authority.

 

Episode 2 was decent. Seems like Guideau is getting fed up with not hunting witches. Se agreed to work for Magical Resonance to hunt witches to cure her curse, but witches aren't that common it seems. They're now onto the case of a town experiencing mass murders.

 

Episode 3 was good and kind of twisted. So Kiera had two sons she adopted and seemed like she was either in a relationship with or was getting to one with her mentor. Her home burnt down and her kids were inside with the witch seeming to target anyone she was invovled with. It ended up being her sons got a grimoire which grants witch-like power no matter the magic potential. Pretty fucked up. She ended up killing them both.

 

Episode 4 was interesting. So the undead and necromancy are a thing. It's legal in some locations although with strict regulations. Due to the undead, Ashaf left this one up to the best necromancer her knew within the organisation seemingly, Phanora. Some dude is going around resurrecting the dead illegally creating some issues. He has now confronted Phanora and taken out her "servant" Johan.

 

Episode 5 was good, I kind of forgot she wasn't just a necromancer, but also a witch. She made her own warriors that are brutal. Also, Johan was already an undead so wasn't fully dead. In the end, Phanora dealt with the mastermind with little issue and has made him fix up all of the undead he raised.

 

Episode 6 was interesting. Ashaf and Guideau have gone on to another city. This one has the Paladin Corps, who seem like a real power faction. They fight for world peace and serve the global holy church. They specifically handle magic/witch-related incidents. In the city a witch is going around killing people, but it seems to not be the one everyone is targeting and the one they had a run in with, Helga. Helga wields a demon sword, Magic Sword Ashgan, so is incredibly dangerous.

 

Episode 7 was good. Guideau and Helga put up a decent fight against Matt but where ultimately overwhelmed. The other sketchy guy was part of an old faction of the Paladin Corps, the executioners. Seems like they shouldn't exist now, but he really almost got the sword. Helga has been captured and Guideau barely escaped with the sword.

 

Episode 8 was good. Helga apparent pretending to have escaped but she was just being controlled. Turns out her mother and family were controlled/slaughtered by the executioners too. The executioner was able to draw out the demon sword but it isn't controlled.

 

Episode 9 was good. The kiss with Helga and Guideau unleashed Guideau who completely cleaned house on the demon sword. Damn. The plot is over.

 

Episode 10 was interesting. The group landed in a new town with Helga and Ashaf going off leaving Guideau alone. She ended up being followed by an execution and then we got the reveal of the witch that cursed her, Angela. Angel killed the executioner with no effort and toyed with Guideau. Seems like Guideau is in her body too, I guess that's the curse? She's been alive for over 200 years it sounds like and she seems to be the original witch based on her epithet "origin witch".

 

Episode 11 was interesting. In the f lashback now of how Ashaf and Guideau met. Ashaf was investigating a town for a witch. The witch in the town was a little girl, Falvell whose power is sealed and she's mute. Even so, the villagers don't treat her kindly aide from thief and a father-son duo who somewhat recently moved there. Falvell is being blamed for another witch stirring shit there. Guideau even attacked her, under the presumption she might have been the one to curse her. It was wrong and she was dealt with.

 

Episode 12 was good. poor Falvell came back to the house to find her brother slaughtered. Ashaf was able to convince Guideau to save Falvell, well, bribe with how to break the curse. Things looked bad for them both when Ashaf showed up to help out. He talked to Falvell who kissed Guideau and broke the curse. As Guideau was in a witches boy, Falvell's curse also broke. Her power is super broken, her sentences basically come true for whatever she said. She said to the main executioner to die in pain and it happened immediately. Brutal. With her power she was also able to reviver her brother Owent.
