Discussion Why the Love for DBZ (DBS whatever)

Ever since DBS started I really didn't understand why everyone was soooo hyped and interested. Now that DBS has been dragging on for 2 years, I think, I thought maybe I'll bring up this question. What makes DBS good or watchable in a sense that one would enjoy it?

 

Me dun understand too it seems like a bunch of sweaty men going GRRRR RAWWWRRR with spiky hair

Love for the franchise and characters we grew up with and DBS has a lot of fun and cool stuff itself, even if it has some lows here and there.

First of I label it was a milking cow.Same how I rate Boruto as milking cow and don't find it interesting at all.The whole Goku and Vegeta fapping is to me nothing interesting and having million and million of super saiyan modes which follows same principle is just not interesting....Goku gets stronger,Vegeta wants to catch up and tries to get better than him,doesn't make it -> repeat.

Also both Goku and Vegeta as MC are annoying.We got the same characters for how many years? and it's like they never changed.Development wise it absolute 0.

Whole Dragon Ball factor is also not interesting,they make it so intense with someone dying just to be revived few episodes later...the whole emotions are killed there.I remember when it was said you can only revive someone once and then they implemented it that you can revive someone as much as you want and it's just meeh...

I liked DBZ very much so and I rate it greatly but I couldn't get pass 3 new content in DBS how bad I found it.I don't like that only Goku and Vegeta get the powerups...2 characters I can't stand at all now...I liked Goku before but it's so repetitive

 

Vegeta has changed signifigantly though? He used to be a genocidal villain and now he's a hero and a family man. He still gets development in Super too.

Also you can't really critique a series as being a milking cow when you're a one piece fanboy, thats hypocritical.

 

That is still from DBZ,that already happened in DBZ.

DBS is nothing more than a nostalgia overload which I really don't find interesting.I also am fuming how Gohan got destroyed.

Like i said his development has continued into Super too, doing stuff with his family you wouldn't envision him doing in Z. He's even become a mentor to others like Cabba

Well Gohan has made a bounce back in the current arc, becoming stronger than he was in Z.

 

Don't find it a watch worthy when Trunks and the little Goku kiddo will never be on the Goku nad Vegeta level and it's just too repetitive.

Oh lemme guess he bounced back to get destroyed again...HOO-RAAY...
