    Yeah, rough.

    Chapter was great. Kaido going full merciless with it. Based on the full chapters, I think the fruit's awakening has altered Luffy's heart beat or maybe his "voice" so it's like Joyboys. I am thinking that Joyboy is not literally overtaking Luffy's body, but either:
    Joyboy was the first fruit user and only other person to awaken it, Luffy awakening it is making his body act the same = Drums
    Joyboy is in some way or another the fruit and the devil fruit awakening has some of his properties

    Or it could be something else. Very interested to see next chap. Break will be rough.

    Amazing chapter. That CP0 guy doing m'Kaido gave me a good laugh xD Kaido is such a good villain, his dialogues really make you scared for the characters. IMO it'd be kino if Yamato or Momo actually died. I'll be waiting like crazy for the next chapter
    Yeah i think the "voice" of normal Luffy and voice of Awakened Luffy is different. Doesn't necessarily mean Joyboy has possessed him. May just mean that joyboy also had gomu gomu and awakened it

    Yeah, Luffy "dying" is kind of a cop-out mid way through the story when you know he can't die lol.

    I hated Kaido at first, I found him lame and not interesting, you know what, after this battle, I am starting to like him as a CHARACTER. I got chills reading the last few pages, I feel like One Piece will hit the peak once again.

    Were these "drums" the beat of his heart?

    JOYBOY LUFFY OH MY DAYS.

    Honesty, I can't wait to hear this in anime, this will be so EPIC OMG
