Chapter 4 was ok. Honestly, whole thing seems pretty average. It's always weird when the setting is almost post-apocalyptic or rather old, but there's randomly high-tech shit, like that plane or air ship. I did enjoy the god-kid, seems like he's got 5 different powers?

 

I never really like the style when they, idk what even the word is. Not chibi, but like, "smaller" not a normal anatomy size and just a kids really. Well, they are kids, but even then seems off given the tones.

 

Chapter 5 was ok. Some backstory to Jio. Interesting that he was raised/trained by a wolf. The monster designs are pretty solid, the giant worm looks cool.

 

Absolutely, it's kinda jarring lol.

Chapter 6 wrapped up the little backstory around the boomerang's name Zero nicely. Zero and Jio did well to beat that creature. I like how the boomerang is embed with his spirit seemingly which allows it to cut stuff.

 

Chapter 7 was ok. Entotsu City has an interesting design lol. Seems like they've enslaved the town under a ruse. So they leader is some sort of monster or maybe just a fucked human, having medicine to stop his cannibalism. I forgot to mention it before too, but the church kid will be the main antagonist? Maybe. Or opponent.

I assume Jio will rescue Ruby soon.

 

Chapter 8 was ok. The classic oppressed city with the corrupt ruler and the revolt in progress. I assume Jio will correct the situation and end up being their hero.

 

Chapter 9 was ok. Gaara sure looks different with slightly longer hair and all those piercings.

He certainly has interesting abilities.

Wonder who the mystery guy with Ruby is.

 

Chapter 10 was alright. So the dude's ability is a dimensional space almost, teleport objects between it, but if the space is shut off, it instantly breaks the object.

Wonder what the pendant will mean for Ruby and that guy.

 

Yeah

 

Or somehow fix the boomerang.
