[AR] Baccano! Discussion Thread

Rofl the Flying Pussyfoot train name gets me everytiem. A lot tension this episode since all the mains are in the same spot


Miria and Issac best duo they're so nonchalant about serious things which makes it funnier
And the fact Issac does things off the top of his head and Miria goes along with it is great

• Isaac: "Cows are herbivores, right?"
• Miria:"Yes!"
• Isaac: "That means if you eat a cow, you're eating grass and meat together!"
• Miria:"You're so smart Isaac!"
• Isaac: "Aren't I?"

Isaac and Miria always provide great comic relief. They really light up the darker moments in this anime. Their over the top, eccentric behavior and silly antics don't detract from the overall quality of the anime at all (in fact, it's just the opposite). In a way, they blend right in with the rest of this cast, considering that most (if not all characters) have a screw or two loose.

 

Isaac and Miria are my kind of people. Happy getting along with their own thing, in their own way. The way they go about robbing people - while it does provide comic relief - also shows you how much they enjoy life and what they do. The way that they easily talk to people and make friends shows that despite their questionable career choices, they're capable of forming bonds with people, caring about people and being loyal friends.

I also really like how this episode brings most of the cast together in this episode. All of the characters and different perspectives have so many different and clashing personalities. The Senator's wife sitting down and chatting along with Jacuzzi's group and Isaac & Miria really brings this to attention, I think.

Other then that... ahhhhhh. I want to talk about the Rail Tracer, but I think it's too soon :c

 

They're anime's very own Bonnie and Clyde. I found it funny how they spent what is essentially an entire year in California, fruitlessly searching for gold. Then a letter from Ennis suddenly convinced them to come back to New York (probably because she said that she missed them, along with the fact that she said that their search for gold wasn't going well).

I also want to talk about the Rail Tracer @_@ but we'll probably have to wait until Episode 9 -- the earliest -- until we can discuss that monster.

Indeed, with all those different group gathered together, you get the strong feeling that shit is about to go down.

You've got The Lemures, The Russo's, Jacuzzi's Gang, Isaac and Miria, an Immortal, and the Rail Tracer. It's a real cluster-****.

 

Really sorry I diddn't do this yet, but We're on episode 3 now.

I had an important appointment yesterday and I totally forgot to do this.

 

I LOOOOVE Isaac and Miria. I forgot how funny they were lol some more of them is definitely something to look forward to.

Epi 3

Not a lot happened this episode it was mostly shedding some light on the things they didn't show in the previous on why people boarded the train. Still overall pretty good.

 

This episode is basically why I love Firo. The hat juggling is real! <3

Ladd san is 2 gr8 and the Miria and Issac bit was hilarious as usual

 

Has anyone ever wondered why Ladd takes such sadistic pleasure in killing those who "never see it coming?" :zaru
