Rangiku and Toshiro had to have a small portion of their lifespan cut short because of the dezombification process. Same likely applies to Kensei and Rose. However, given that lieutenant and captain level shinigami can live for 1000-2000 years (may be even longer) I guess it is negligible in the grand scheme of things.

 

Yeah. And, let's be real here, both of them will likely live for several centuries more. Hell, Toshiro may be even millennia, given that he could one day surpass Kyoraku in power.

Epiosde 11 was good. So Nanao is Shunshui's niece. Nanao's mother entrusted Shunsui with her "cursed" Zanpakuto and was executed for losing her heriloom. Smells like another Central 46 L. The Zanpakuto is pretty nifty though, reflecting God's attacks. Nanao was nervous using it first but Shunsui gave her a pep talk and boom. Lille Barro is gone. So that was his owl appearance ngl I was very uncomfortable when Shunsui held Nanao's hand and Nanao said something around the lines of I feel captain shunsui's encouragement inside me Looks like their battle is over and they'll take a little break

 

Man, episode 12 was iconic but tragic. Bazz B and Haschwalt were childhood buddies. Yhwach destroyed Bazz's home and he and Jugo swore to kill him. Juguram was also SA'd by his uncle it seems When Yhwach came to pick the Sternritters he chose Jugo and made him his right hand man instead of Bazz cause he was special, born only once in 200 years. Their final fight was just sad. RIP Bazz B. Not even a frown on Jugo after cutting down his oldest friend.

 

Lille Barro has one thing in common with Ulquiorra:
He is the only known Quincy who can access a second level of Vollstandig, similar to how Ulquiorra is the only known Arrancar with a Segunda Etapa.

And wouldn't you know it: his second Vollstandig makes him a transcended being. Barro really was built different.

When Shunsui said that Katen (the older lady) "gave birth" to Kyokotsu (the younger girl) many fans began to wonder if Shunsui and Katen . . . you know? Did they do the deed? I don't think so, but the way he worded it certainly makes it questionable.

Yeah... I blame whoever did the sub-titles for that.

Japanese is a lot like Kannada (my native tongue). You should not exactly translate into English what they are saying, because it sounds weird at times. You should instead find the closest English overall phrasing.

 

Yeah, the manga left that bit up in the air. However, the voice acting by the uncle in both the Japanese and English dubs made it abundantly clear that Jugram was being sexually abused.

Jugram developed a sense of attachment and loyalty to Yhwach because he made him feel valued, special, needed. Both his uncle and Bazz never made him feel that way. His uncle was an abusive dick waffle and Bazz was an arrogant noble (Jugram comes from a peasant family) who looked down on Jugram constantly as an untalented Quincy.

However, Jugram and Bazz did indeed care about each other.

Bazz did not feel ashamed to be cut down by Jugram.

Our blonde pretty boy, meanwhile, did indeed hold some guilt in cutting Bazz down. You will also notice that he has the Black family crest on a buckle embedded onto the hilt of his Blade of Judgement (yes, that is the name of his broadsword). It is the very same buckle that Bazz tossed to Jugram during their first meeting. Also recall that Jugram actively looked out for Bazz and prevented that asshole Hubert from disciplining Bazz.

Jugram's angry "I'll be watching" to Hubert still hits me hard.

Also... Jugram never fought Bazz and prevented other Quincy from fighting him because he knew that Yhwach would have severely disciplined his dear rooster head.

 

I totally ship Shunsui and Katen

 

Bazz is a respectable character. Lived on his own terms and died with honor.

Since Zanpakuto spirits are manifestations of who their owners really are as a person deep down and are a product of their own soul, Shunsui would have essentially fukked himself.
