    Yeah that gets good money. Hell, you could get a job with Energex which does the powerlines. My brother does that and he had to work christmas day. Christmas day is triple time. And then it was raining, so you get double whatever you're on for the hazard work so he was on 6x his normal pay and for 12 hours. Said he got $2,500 take home for that one day, lmao. But it's rough.

    Yeah, that's almost a month of my work in one day. xD He said that they also have to disconnect people's electricity if they don't pay and one time a guy came out with a ******* machete xD

    Yeah. I'm like a bit above minimum wage, but it's obviously a lot better than you, it blows for you guys.

    Like a first year electrical apprentice minimum wage is $20 per hour here, but that is minimum so it could be higher. It would increase each year as an apprentice too.

    AUD 2500 pay is equivalent to INR 31,000 pay (after adjusting for PPP). That's a starting monthly salary for a cop in India.

    Meanwhile... India does not have the concept of "hazard pay". We really don't. The concept is alien here. There is a thing called "risk allowance", but that only comes into play for employees of the Central Government of India and the employees of some state governments. This includes the police, military, railways, and state owned power corporations.

    At least you don't have literal Nazi worshippers ******* your country up the bum and patting themselves on the back for their "great economic schemes" which lost 5 million people their jobs in just one year and lost the government INR 5 trillion (about USD 70 billion) in tax revenue.

    I believe machetes are classified as just big knives by Australian standards xD

    But, seriously, that is fucked up. I hope that guy got the cops called in on him.

    Nah... You'd waste it all on shit you don't need and still be like "I need more money, maaaaan" all the time.
