Ganesha festival here and Yeddy has given permission for setting up of pandals [albeit with certain restrictions].

Bangaloreans not giving one flying **** and out in droves in Basavanagudi (where I live and my office is) and Malleswaram (where I have in-laws and relatives on mom's side).

We're going to have an explosion of COVID-19 cases over here.

Nah, there's only some langars and processions on visarjan day but other than that it's pretty quiet.

 

It's a big deal here in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
